Advances in Laparoscopy is an open access, peer reviewed journal that publishes novel surgical insights about the minimal laparoscopic surgery that is usually performed with the help of a laparoscope, a long fiber optic cable system which allows viewing of the affected area by snaking the cable from a more distant, but more easily accessible location. The journal discusses about most common laparoscopic procedure that is mainly intended to minimise post-operative pain and speed up recovery times, while maintaining an enhanced visual field for surgeons and physicians.
The journal impels to uncover new and better recovery mode of procedures to keep patients' individualized needs being first and foremost concern. The journal publishes only selective manuscripts that are of high quality and scientific impact after the evaluation by world class peers and independent reviewers.
The journal is ardent to publish original, reviews, rapid communications, case reports, clinical images, perspectives, opinions and other short articles.
