Hengmao Tong is a Professor in Department of structural Geology at China University of Petroleum, Beijing, China and also he is a Vice chairman of youth working committee, Geological Society of China. Member of GSA (Geological Society of America), AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologist), and AGU (America Geophysical Union). His focus area was basin structural analysis, reservoir fracture prediction, sandbox modeling, and tectonic stress field analysis, and teaching on Tectonics, Basin Analysis, Physical Geology, Geomechanics and was a long-term team leader of Comprehensive Field Practice.

Kazi Md Salim Newaz, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaya. He has 11 years of service experience as an academic and 18 years of engineering service experience in petrochemical industries, construction of different chemical plants and engineering consultant in the international arena. He has the academic background with B. Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical), Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Master of Engineering (Mechanical) and Ph. D. in Heat transfer and Fouling Mitigation. He has been working at University of Malaya since 2009. He has introduced sophisticated research approaches on heat transfer, particle characterization, fiber and paper, heat exchanger fouling and corrosion mitigation, separation flow, nanofluid synthesis and applications, renewable energy, etc. He has completed supervision of 21 Ph.D. theses, 7 patents, published more than 165 technical papers, 10 technical book chapters and edited 4 engineering books.

Salem Aboglila is a Dean of science Faculty at Azzaytuna University, Libya.

I acquired my Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) from University of Bradford, England in 1999 and my Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy (Chemical Engineering) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. I am currently an Associate Professor at the School of Chemical and Energy Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. My research specialization is in Chemical Engineering, specifically in cold separation, focusing on water removal process involving ice cystallisation called freeze concentration. I currently have 69 indexed paper in Scopus and more than 60 non-indexed and conference papers presented. I have served in a few editorial boards.

Dr. Bisweswar Ghosh is an Associate Professor in Department of Petroleum Engineering at the Petroleum Institute, Abu Dhabi for last 10 years, involved in teaching various Petroleum Engineering courses, supervising Graduate Thesis and conducting R&D projects. Earlier (2005-07) he served as a full time consultant for Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Muscat, responsible for developing Petroleum Engineering research and supervision of sponsored projects and graduate research. His focus area was water and gas shutoff, formation damage and flow assurance. Prior to that Dr. Ghosh worked as a senior researcher at Institute of Oil & Gas Production Technology, an R&D wing of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) form 1996 to 2005. The research activities were in the area of Water & Gas Shutoff, Well Stimulation, Drilling & Completion Fluid design and flow assurance. During this period the team had successfully completed over 30 large and medium size projects.

Dr. Omar Chaalal is an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Abu Dhabi University (ADU). Chaalal is an internationally renowned expert in the separation technologies. He is the inventor of the EnPro Process that deals with the sequestration of carbon dioxide and global warming reduction. He has undertaken several successful research related to CO2 cleaning in Natural Gas and subsequently two patents applications have been filed for the use of this technology. The benefits of these patents were, in addition to the environmental benefits, used in the treatment of large quantities of desalinated formation water in the oil field. Chaalal has pioneered among others the use of seawater and ammonia to reduce the effect of carbon dioxide on the environment.

Dr. Tye Ching Thian is an Associate Professor in the School of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia. She received her doctoral degree at The University of British Columbia, Canada in 2006, specializing in catalysis and chemical reaction engineering. Previouly, she obtained her Master degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia working in a modeling and simulation project. Over the past decade, Dr. Tye has been actively involved in investigating the fundamental issues of catalyst such as the effects of its structure in cracking and treating of different uncoventional energy resources such as heavy oil, residue, used motor oil and palm oil. Dr. Tye is also interested in cross field collaboration, such as investigation of bitumen characteristic enhancement (chemical engineering) in road pavement technology (civil engineering), to create a greater value to the society.

Tarek Ganat joined the university since January 2017 as lecturer in the Petroleum Engineering department at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He has a BSc, MSc, and PhD all in petroleum Engineering and has more than twenty-five years of experience in various aspects with expertise of production and reservoir engineering through the participation of integrated studies with different oil and gas companies such as Gowoff Oil Company (1 year), Libya, Repsol Exploration Company (12 ½ years), Spain, Petro-Canada Oil Company (3 years), Canada, and PETRONAS Grigali Oil company (6 years), Malaysia. His Professional experience was developed in the oil and gas industry in tanning centers and largely work experience focused around subsurface evaluation for Green fields and Brown Fields. Wide range of Overseas experience gained in fractured carbonate and clastic reservoir characterization, and full field development. Considerable experience in the application of petroleum industry related packages in multinational and multicultural JV’s.

Dr. Zulkifli Bin Abdul Majid is a Associate Professor, Department of Energy Engineering, School of Chemical & Energy Engineering in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia. And also Deputy Director at UTM-MPRC Institute for Oil and Gas, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (1 October 2018 – 30 September 2020). I have published some research papers and conference papers also presented.

Dr. Norzita Ngadi is an Associate Professor in School of Chemical and Energy Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), where she has been a school member since 1999. She received her Ph.D. degree from University of Canterbury, New Zealand in 2010. She obtained her Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from UTM in 2002, after completion of her undergraduate study in Universiti Sains Malaysia. Her research interest includes wastewater treatment, catalytic reaction, renewable fuel and surface functionalization. She has published over 200 articles in journals and conference papers. She has been appointed as a member of editorial board of Acta Materialia Turcica for two years, Currently, she is having six active research grants from Malaysian government as a project leader. She has been honored with recognition nationally as well as internationally for the products invention.

I am currently a Senior Lecturer at the Dep. of Chem. Eng. Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). I received my B.Eng. and M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2002 and 2005 respectively.

Dr. Dimitrios Tsaoulidis is an Asst Professor of Chemical Engineering in the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering at University of Surrey. He obtained his Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and his PhD in Chemical Engineering from University College London. His research interests evolve around clean energy, healthcare, and manufacturing and particularly their connection with micro scale technologies. He specializes in complex multi-phase flows at different scales (micro-to-macro) and their application to process intensification. His research combines advanced experimental investigations of multi-phase hydrodynamics and transport phenomena that are enabled by cutting-edge sensing and measurement technologies, as well as numerical simulations, modelling, and optimization. Outcomes of his work have been published in over 50 peer reviewed journal and conference papers, and he received a Springer Thesis award for his PhD Thesis in sustainability.

Azizul Helmi Sofian is Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Chemical and Natural Resources Engineering of Universiti Malaysia Pahang. Dr Azizul received a bachelor degree in chemistry engineering from Gunma University, Japan. He then continued his study to master degree in material science at the same university and a PhD in corrosion from Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan. His research focuses on material (polymer) and corrosion. He has taught courses in general chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry and computer programming for chemical engineers. He also taught technology program in Oil and Gas Facilities Maintenance Program.

Dr. Xiaorong Li is a Assistant Professor in Department of Off-Shore Oil and Gas Engineering, China University of Petroleum (Beijing), China. I acquired my Bachelor of Science (Material Science and Engineering) from Nanchang University, China in 2009 and my Master of Science (Petroleum Engineering) and Doctor of Philosophy Civil Engineering (Geotech) from The University of Texas at Austin in 2018. My research specialization is in Drilling and Wellbore stability. I have published some research papers and conference papers also presented.

I completed my Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester (UK) in 2018 and currently working as a visiting lecturer in the Petroleum Engineering Department at Texas A&M University (Qatar Branch). My research focuses on advancing the fundamental understanding of multiphase flow though porous media. Using analytical analysis, state-of-art modeling techniques and cutting-edge experimental tools I elucidate the key pore-scale mechanisms controlling the immiscible displacement in porous materials, and then scaling up these observations through mathematical formulation for prediction of large-scale Earth science problems in the areas of energy and the environment. My efforts in collaboration with various top international research institutes have resulted in high-quality peer-reviewed publications in leading scientific journals. Moreover, I have several inventions protected by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (UPTSO) granting patent pending status.

I am a Petroleum Engineer and M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Ph.D. in Engineering of Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Ph.D. in Chemistry of Universidad de Granada, Spain. I have experience in applied nanotechnology to the oil and gas industry, synthesis of nanomaterials, formation damage, chemical enhanced oil recovery (CEOR), PVT model’s construction, optimization of drilling fluids and surface phenomena.

Evgenia Krasimova Vasileva, Assistant Professor, PhD in Institute of Chemical Engineering, Bulgarian Academy of Science, Bulgaria. Her main research interests are Chemical reactor, Bioreactors, Bioprocess Engineering, Renewable Energy, Fuel cell, Immobilization, Ecology. She published her scientific papers in some international journals.

I’m Marco António Ludovico Marques is a Assitant Professor at Department of Geotechnical Engineering in Barreiro School of Technology-Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, Portugal. My Research is focus on Mechanical and physical behavior of historical load bearing building stones; Frost and salt weathering effect on physical and mechanical behavior of stones, surface rocks and rock masses; Stone conservation; Geotechnical characterization (site investigation); Rock mechanics and petrophysics of oil & gas and water reservoirs; Geotechnical works; Drilling and wellbore stability; Application of fuzzy inference systems related to geotechnics and conservation.

Asif Zamir is a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Petronas (Malaysia). Before joining UTP, he served as a researcher at the King Saud University–Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering (Saudi Arabia). Asif Zamir holds his MSc degree in Petroleum Engineering from King Saud University (Saudi Arabia) in 2014, B.sc degree in Petroleum Engineering from BUITEMS Pakistan in 2008 and his MBA degree from virtual university of Pakistan in 2011. His primary interest areas include; but not limited to the Drilling & well completion, well control, Drilling operations and drilling fluid design. He was the drillingengineering cluster leader at the petroleum engineering department at UTP from Jan 2016 to Jan 2017.

Dr. Patricio Cano has studied Chemical Engineering and Master on Agri-Food (focus on production) at Cadiz University. Later, he carried out his PhD for 4 years at the same university. At the same time, he has collaborated on laboratory teaching (Biotechnology, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering degrees). After the PhD, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Spanish Open University in Madrid headquarters. Then, he joined UPO University in Seville as assistant professor (Environment Science degree). Currently, he is an assistant professor at the Spanish Open University in Seville headquarters (Chemistry degree). Concerning to his research, he has been focused on biogas upgrading and recovery from operational (laboratory scale), economic (CAPEX and OPEX) and environmental (life cycle assessment) point of view.

Hajar Alias is currently a Senior Lecturer at University Technology Malaysia.She received her Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Rochester, USA in 1994. She then continued her studies at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom and received her PhD in 2007. Her doctoral research was on nano materials and synthesis of nano fluids for heat transfer application. Her current research work includes nano materials synthesis and characterization, nanofluids application and catalysis. She has published numerous articles in international refereed journals and conference proceedings. She is an associate member of Icheme UK.

Dr. Khaled O. Sebakhy is a research fellow and senior lecturer at the University of Groningen. His current research interests include: RAFT mediated polymerizations of biorenewable Monomers in Supercritical CO2, amphiphilic polymers for enhanced oil recovery, water phases in alginate hydrogels and heterogeneous Catalysis of chemical processes.

Dr. Dr. Tsvetomila Parvanova Mancheva is an Assistant Professor at Institute of Chemical Engineering, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Bulgaria. Her Main research areas of specialization are Wastewater treatment on microbiology methods, Denitrification, Renewable Energy, Fuel cell. She Published some of the research papers in international journals.

Dr. Nur Izyan binti Wan Azelee is a Senior Lecturer at Department of Bioprocess & Polymer Engineering, School of Chemical & Energy Engineering in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. Her field of expertise is Biofuel, Enzyme Technology, Bioprocess Engineering and Biomass Pretreatment/ Delignification. She is published research papers in some international journals.

Morteza Mohammadzaheri completed his PhD in Intelligent Control from the School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Adelaide, Australia, in 2011. Dr Mohammadzaheri is currently an Assistant Professor of Dynamic Systems and Control at Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department of Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. His research includes modelling, control and optimisation of systems particularly with use of artificial intelligence. He has addressed a variety of research problems in different processes e.g. power plants, offshore petroleum plants, dryers, chemical reactors, engines,aerial and lan vehicles, pipelines and precision systems. Dr Mohammadzaheri has published/presented 119 peer reviewed research papers including 54 journal articles by 20 March 2021.

Siti Noor Hidayah Mustapha, Ph.D., is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Industrial Chemistry, Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). She has the academic background with bachelor’s in Engineering (Chemical-Polymer) and Doctorate in Polymer Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She has been working at UMP since 2016. Her current research interest is in polymer composite and biopolymer synthesis for coatings, foams, composite and other bioliquid for various applications. She has been appointed as a member of editorial board of International Journal of Innovation and Industrial Revolution (IJIREV) since 2019. She has published numbers of paper internationally and attended conferences nationally and internationally.

Dr. Ahmad Zamani Bin AB Halim started his career as a R&D chemist at Allied Chemists Laboratory Sdn Bhd Johor Bahru after graduating Master of Science from University Teknologi Malaysia in 2007. In 2008, he joined Geolab Sdn Bhd as a Head of chemistry lab and Quality Management Representative. In the year 2016, he joined Universiti Malaysia Pahang in the Faculty of Industrial Sciences & Technology after graduating PhD from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Since then, he had really focused on carbon dioxide capture and utilization by catalyst; catalyst design; Natural gas, Biofuel, Hydrogen Production, air pollution to gas; method validation through his involvement in teaching, research and consultancy. He is a Registered Professional Chemist Malaysia; Professional Technologists MBOT and Quality Management Systems Auditor/Lead Auditor ISO 9001-2008.

Dr. Siti Kholijah Binti Abdul Mudalip is a Senior Lecturer at Department of Chemical Engineering in Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia. Her Research is focus on Crystallization, Extraction Tecnhiques, Molecular Dynamics Simulation, Natural Products, Separation and Purification Technologies.She have Published Articles in Some International Journals.
