Dr. Steven Ross Murray was born and reared in Tennessee, USA. He studied health and physical education at Berea College in Berea, Kentucky, USA, and later earned his bachelor's degree from the University of North Alabama (BS 1991) in physical education. He took his master's and doctoral degrees from Middle Tennessee State University (MS 1993, DA 1996) in wellness and fitness and physical education, respectively. Dr. Murray is currently a Professor of Kinesiology and former Head of the Department of Kinesiology and former Acting Dean of the School of Business and Professional Studies at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado. Before joining the faculty at Colorado Mesa University (formerly Mesa State College) in 1998, he worked for Cumberland University in Tennessee as a grant procurer and administrator and was on faculty at Lander University in South Carolina in the Department of Physical Education and Exercise Science. Dr. Murray is the author of Wellness for Life (Kendall Hunt Publishing Company, 2015, 3rd edition, 2012) and Fitness Walking (Kendall Hunt Publishing Company, 2009). In addition to his books, he has published numerous articles in academic journals and other periodicals, including Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, Nikephoros: Zeitschrift für Sport und Kultur im Altertum, Palamedes: A Journal of Ancient History, The Clinical Journal of Sport Medicine, Journal of Athletic Training, The Physical Educator, The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, andThe Physician and Sportsmedicine. He has been a reviewer, contributing editor, editor-in-chief, and invited referee for several publishing companies and academic journals. Lastly, he is an avid runner and sportsman, and he has completed over 100 multi-sport events, including IRONMAN® triathlons. The research interests of Dr. Murray center around physical activity and wellness. He studies sport in the ancient world, especially ancient Greece and Rome. Other interests involve athletic injuries, recovery modalities, and fitness testing.

Dr. Bullock is an Clinical Professor of Community Health and a research epidemiologist in ocular diseases. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Medical School, class of 1968. Bullock was an intern in internal medicine at Washington University in St. Louis before serving as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy. After residency training in ophthalmology at Yale University, he completed fellowships at the University of California, San Francisco, and the Mayo Clinic. He received a Master of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Wright State University and an MPH from Harvard in 2003. He completed additional training from the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, the CDC in Atlanta, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and the Pasteur Institute in Paris. He held a clinical faculty position at Stanford University before coming to Wright State, where he served as Professor and Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology, Associate Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, and was named the Brage Golding Distinguished Professor of Research. As a Professor of Physiology and Biophysics, he investigated and published numerous papers concerning a variety of ocular injuries. He also was a lecturer in Law and Medicine at the University of Dayton School of Law. Dr. Bullock is the author or co-author of more than 240 scientific publications. His research influenced the market withdrawal of two general anesthetics, a warning label for a pharmaceutical agent whose inappropriate use resulted in blindness, and a Consumer Products Safety Commission-mandated warning label. He attained Fellowship status from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the American College of Epidemiology. In 2011 he received the Outstanding Scientific Project Award from the Vision Care Section of the American Public Health Association. He has numerous inventions and has received teaching awards, copyrights, and trademarks. He has given more than 500 lectures throughout the world, a number of which were distinguished named lectureships, and was President and Secretary-Treasurer of two international ophthalmological societies. He has served as a consultant to the National Institutes of Health, the Hospital Albert Schweitzer in Haiti, the U.S. Veteran’s Administration, the U.S. Air Force, the American Medical Association, and the Harvard-Hsiao Resource-Based Relative Value Study. He practiced ophthalmology in the Dayton, Ohio area for over 25 years, served on the editorial boards of 24 medical journals (including Nature [Scientific Reports / Public Health]), has been recognized as “One of Ohio’s Finest Citizens” by the Ohio House of Representatives, and was listed in a “Best Doctors in America” publication. For the last ten years, Dr. Bullock has been quoted in The New York Times and published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

Dr. Carlos Leal is a Director of Fenway Medical, Associate Professor of Department of Orthopedics & President of the Managing Board in Bosque University and Director of MedLife Magazine. He received his B.A in 1979 at St. George's School, M.D in 1985 at Bosque University, MD in Social Service at San Rafael Hospital of Barrancabermeja in 1986. Dr. Carlos as Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Orthopedic Research and Biomechanics of Orthopedic Biomechanics Laboratory at Harvard Medical School , Orthopedics Fellow in Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Knee Surgery at The Hospital For Joint Diseases, Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine fellow at Aspen Valley Hospital. He did his Orthopaedic Advanced Training of Shockwave Therapy in Orthopaedics & Shockwave Therapy in Foot and Ankle at ISAKOS Training Center and Weil Foot & Ankle Institute respectivelly, Orthopaedic Diplomate in ISMST Training Center.

Dr. Nicolas Barbosa is a Titular Professor of Sports Medicine and Physiology at Bosque University and at National Pedagogical University of Colombia Bogotá and obtained his MD degree from Colombian National University, Sports Medicine degree from Bosque University and Ph.D. degree in Sports Science and Human Movement from the Paris XI University, France (2015). He was Founder and Head of Sports Medicine Graduate from University El Bosque. Honorary President of the World Association of Graduate Sports Medicine and Member of the Scientific Committee of the Journal: Colombian Medical Acta. He has had the honor of giving invited lectures at national and international conferences. Project Director of the Laboratory of Altitude and Depth in Colombia. Dr. Barbosa's current research interest centers on Daily Energy Expenditure, Physical Activity and Health, Altitude Physiology and Diving Medicine.

Professor Roy G Beran is trained as a consultant neurologist and accredited sleep physician, in addition to working within legal medicine, military medicine and aviation medicine. His qualifications include: MBBS, MD, FRACP, FRACGP, Grad. Dip. Tertiary Ed., Grad. Dip. Further Ed., FAFPHM, FACLM, FRCP, FAAN, FACBS, B Leg. S, MHL and FFFLM (Hon). He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a specialist in Neurology, Public Health and Sleep Medicine and is a Designated Medical Examiner for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. He is a medical assessor for Dispute Resolution for the State Insurance Regulatory Authority and an assessor for the Workers Compensation Commission of New South Wales (NSW). He is a Conjoint Professor of Medicine at the University of NSW; Professor in the School of Medicine at Griffith University, Queensland; and Professor, Chair, Medical Law, Sechenov Moscow 1st State University, Moscow, Russia. He was the inaugural Visiting Professor at the International Research Institute of Health Law Sciences at the Southern Medical University, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China and has been a Visiting Professor at Macau University. He is the Australian Governor and was the Secretary General and remains a Vice President of the World Association for Medical Law (WAML), having served on the Organizing Committee of numerous World Congresses on Medical Law, presided over the World Congress, in Sydney, in 2004, and successfully bid to host the World Congress to be held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, in 2022. He was the first Honorary Fellow of the Faculty of Forensic & Legal Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians (London). Dr. Beran’s research interests include in Rehabilitation, sleep disorders, neurological conditions & new therapies, health law & ethics and drug trials.

Dr. Abdul Qayyum Rana is a neurologist who specializes in Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders. After his neurology residency training, he completed a fellowship in Parkinson’s disease and Movement disorders from the University of Ottawa, Canada. Dr. Rana is currently the Director of Parkinson’s Clinic of Eastern Toronto and Movement Disorders Centre in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Rana is the founder and former editor-in-chief of the Journal of Parkinsonism and Restless Legs Syndrome, published by Dove Press. Dr. Rana is also the founder of the World Parkinson’s Program, a global organization dedicated to improving lives of those with Parkinson’s disease. He has published extensively in the field of Neurology, Parkinson’s disease and Movement disorders. Dr. Rana has been an invited speaker on Parkinson’s disease and has conducted seminars on Parkinson’s disease at international levels. Dr. Rana has been honoured with the Wayne Hening Award for his research on association on Parkinson’s disease and RLS. Beside his BSc, MD, and FRCPC from the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, Dr. Rana has also been awarded an honorary FRCP of the Royal College of Physicians. He is listed in WHO IS WHO in the world and in the Leading Physicians of the World. He is the author of a series of educational brochures about Parkinson’s disease which have been translated in more than 20 languages and are used in more than 50 countries around the world Dr. Rana is author of several books.

Dr. Earl R Bud Cooper position with the University of Georgia is Associate Clinical Professor, Clinical Coordinator for Athletic Training, Program Coordinator for the Master’s degree in Strength, Conditioning and fitness, and the Program Director for Study Abroad programs to Taiwan and Scotland. Dr. Cooper has been a practicing athletic trainer for over 35 years. His experiences range from interscholastic, intercollegiate, professional and a variety of health care settings. For the last 12 years, Dr. Cooper has been active in research concerning the effects of stressful environmental conditions on the health of American football participants. His research has been funded by the National Collegiate Athletic Association, The National Athletic Trainers’ Association Research and Education Foundation and the National Federation of High Schools. This research has generated the single largest data-base of EHI occurrences in the country and has been instrumental in the practice policy revision for the Georgia High School Association’s football practice guidelines. Dr. Cooper has lectured internationally, nationally, regionally and to state audiences concerning his research efforts.

Dr. Marcia Epler is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at Lebanon Valley College, Professor of School of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University. She received her B.S in Physical Therapy at Ithaca College in 1975 , M.Ed in Biomechanics and Ph.D in Sports Medicine at Temple University in 1981 & 1996 respectively. Dr. Epler teaches biomechanics & kinesiology, musculoskeletal I & II. Her research interests include orthopedic dysfunctions and functional outcomes. Clinical practice areas include orthopedics and sports medicine.

Wade Rankin, DO is an Assistant Professor and Associate Residency Program Director at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Department of Family and Community Medicine, located in Lexington, Kentucky. Additionally, he serves as the Inpatient Medical Director of the Family Medicine inpatient service. His clinic interests include Sports Medicine, Health and Wellness, and Lipid Management. These interests provide him the opportunity to also serve as the Senior Editor for the AMSSM Education Committee, Team Physician at Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky, Sports Track Advisor for the University of Kentucky Family Medicine residency program, and medical volunteer at various sports mass participation events. He is Board Certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Family Medicine – Sports Medicine.

Dr. Yong Seuk Lee is an Associate professor in Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. He received his Ph.D at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine in 2010, M.D at Chung-Ang University School of Medicine in 1999. Dr. Lee did his Internship & Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Sungkyunkwan University. He worked as Medical Officer, Chief of Orthopedic Surgery in Department Pusan & Yangju Military Hospital,Clinical Instructor in Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Korea University Ansan Hospital, Ajou Universtiy School of Medicine. Dr. Lee was awarded with Japanese orthopedic association traveling award, Cover model of arthroscopic association of North America membership directory & Asia pacific young research award.His research intrest includes functional analysis of the ligament reconstructed patients, Radiologic analysis of ligament reconstruction, High tibial osteotomy in medial osteoarthritic knee.

Dr. Li Fu is a Professor of Sports Medicine and Physiology at Tianjin Medical University, Tianjin China. He is a graduate of Tianjin Medical College and Beijing Medical University, and obtained his MD. and Ph.D. degree in Sports Medicine from the Beijing Medical University. He completed his postdoctoral research at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. He has served as editor member for the Sports Medicine Journal, and has served on several grant review committees for the Chinese Natural Science Foundation Committee. He has had the honor of giving over 20 invited lectures at national and international conferences.

Lan-Yuen Guo, PhD was born in Chia-Yi, Taiwan, in 1970. He received a BS degree in Physical Therapy from National Yang-Ming University, Taipei, Taiwan in 1992, a MS degree in 1996 and a PhD in 2003 in Biomedical Engineering from National Cheng-Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan. He has been a lecturer and associate professor in Department of Physical Therapy in Tzu-Chi College of Technology, Hualien, Taiwan from 1996 to 2004, a special project associate in Biomechanics and Motion Analysis Laboratory in Mayo Clinic, MN, USA from 2001 to 2002, an assistant and associate professor in Department of Sports Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan from 2004 to 2012. Currently, he served as a professor and director in Department of Sports Medicine and CEO of Health Promotion and Health Care Device Industry-Academy Technology Cooperation Organization, Kaohsiung Medical University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. His research interests include sports medicine, biomechanics, movement science, physical therapy and rehabilitation engineering.His research interests include sports medicine, biomechanics, movement science, physical therapy and rehabilitation engineering.

Dr. Ayman Mohamed is an Assistant professor in the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Istanbul Gelisim University, Istanbul, Turkey. He has extensive teaching, research, and clinical experiences. Ayman Mohamed received his Ph.D. from Rehabilitation Engineering Lab at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). During his Ph.D he learned the use of different assessment tools in the field of kinesiology and physiotherapy. These devices included ultrasonography, laser Doppler, EMG, ECG, Pressure mat, and foot pressure. Also, He took different workshops about research conduction and writing and the use of innovation in teaching. Ayman Mohamed has extensive academic experience as he has taught several courses including Electrotherapy, Hydrotherapy, Therapeutic Exercises, Kinesiology, Manual Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation, Geriatric Rehabilitation, and Occupational Therapy. Furthermore, Ayman has an incredible clinical history because he has 16 years of clinical experience in different in-patient and out-patient facilities. He diagnosed and treated several musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. He has developed two new directions in the field of Physical Therapy. The first direction is a technique called Dynamic Scapular Recognition Exercise to reduce the shrug sign usually develops in patients with frozen shoulder. The second one is targeting the proprioceptors as sensory receptors of muscle fatigue to decrease the incidence of muscle fatigue. The third one is using the passive cable theory to decrease the hypersensitivity of nociceptors commonly presents in patients with chronic pain.
