Ephraim Suhir is on the faculty of the Portland State University, Portland, OR, USA, Technical University, Vienna, Austria and James Cook University, Queensland, Australia. He is also CEO of a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) ERS Co. in Los Altos, CA, USA, is Foreign Full Member (Academician) of the National Academy of Engineering, Ukraine (he was born in that country); Life Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Society of Optical Engineers (SPIE), and the International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS); Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS), the Institute of Physics (IoP), UK, and the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE); and Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Ephraim has authored 400+ publications (patents, technical papers, book chapters, books), presented numerous keynote and invited talks worldwide, and received many professional awards, including 1996 Bell Laboratories Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) Award (for developing effective methods for predicting the reliability of complex structures used in AT&T and Lucent Technologies products), and 2004 ASME Worcester Read Warner Medal (for outstanding contributions to the permanent literature of engineering and laying the foundation of a new discipline “Structural Analysis of Electronic Systems”). Ephraim is the third “Russian American”, after S. Timoshenko and I. Sikorsky, who received this prestigious award. Last year he received the 2019 IEEE Electronic Packaging Society (EPS) Field award for seminal contributions to mechanical reliability engineering and modeling of electronic and photonic packages and systems and Int. Microelectronic Packaging Society’s (IMAPS) Lifetime Achievement award for making exceptional, visible, and sustained impact on the microelectronics packaging industry and technology.

Prof. Nasser Peyghambarian is a Professor at the College of Optical Sciences and the Department of Materials Science & Engineering at University of Arizona, USA. He is also Director of the NSF Engineering Research Center for Integrated Access Networks and the UA Chair of Photonics and Lasers and Adjunct Professor at University of California, San Diego. Prof. Peyghambarian received his Ph.D. in Physics from Indiana University in 1982. He was honored with 2016 Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors, 2007 University of Arizona Technology Innovation Award and Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Prof. Nasser Peyghambarian's research interests includes Optical networks and Optical communication, Fiber optics, Fiber lasers and amplifiers, Organic photonics, 3D holographic display and 3D telepresence, Nonlinear photonics, Optical modulators and switches, Laser spectroscopy, Nanostructures and Quantum dots.

Dr. Nan Yao is a Director of Imaging and Analysis Center (IAC), Princeton Institute for Science and Technology of Materials (PRISM), Director of Industry Outreach, Princeton Center for Complex Materials (PCCM), Princeton, NJ, USA. He is A recipient of the Outstanding Service Award in Preparing Science and Technology Leaders for the Future from the Siemens Foundation in 2011. Dr. Nan Yao’s research has focused on utilizing advanced imaging, diffraction, spectroscopy and in-situ techniques, in tandem with molecular dynamic simulation, to conduct fundamental studies of the structure-composition-processing-property relationships in complex materials for applications in nanotechnology, energy, environment and health. Dr. Yao is respected for his many contributions in the field including in developing the first 300 keV Environmental-cell Transmission Electron Microscope (1991) and developing a theoretical explanation for the superior imaging resolution of scanning helium-ion microscopy over the scanning electron microscopy (2008).

Prof. Artemi Cerda is a Professor of Department of Geography at the University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain. Prof. Cerda developed his Ph.D. researching the Infiltration Capacity of Mediterranean Soil from 1989 till 1993. His position as researched in the Desertification Research Centre and the Pyrenean Institute of Ecology from 1998 till 2002 about the interaction of seeds, plants and erosion. Since 2002 as Associate Professor and since 2009 as Full Professor at the University of Valencia, Spain. Prof. Cerdà developed the Soil Erosion and Degradation Research Group and the Soil Erosion Research Stations of Montesa and Serra de Enguera. Prof. Artemi Cerda's research interests focuses on the effect of agriculture, Forest fires and roads on soil erosion, Land degradation, Desertification, Agriculture managements, Mediterranean, Soil hydrology.

Prof. Bingqing Wei is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Delaware, USA. He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and Center for Computation & Technology at Louisiana State University from 2003 to 2007. He was a Research Scientist at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Department of Materials Science and Engineering and Rensselaer Nanotechnology Center from 2000 to 2003 and visiting scientist at Max-Planck-Institut für Metallforschung, Stuttgart, Germany in 1998 and 1999. Prof. Bingqing Wei’s research interest and expertise in nano materials and nanotechnology. His research interests have been focusing on the synthesis, processing, characterization, and physical properties of carbon nanostructures, carbon nanotube, nano composites, and applications of carbon nanostructures in energy conversion and storage devices.

Prof. Michel Goldberg is a Professor at University of Paris, Paris, France. Prof. Goldberg honored with Distingish Service Award IADR(2003). - IADR Distinguished Scientist Award for Pulp Biology Research (2006) Academy of Dentistry International Fellow (2011). He aws awrded by Chair of the IADR Hatton Award and Chairman of the Working Group of the Pan European Federation/IADR (1998-2002). Prof. Michel Goldberg's research interests includes -Extracellular matrix and biomineralizations (phosphorylated and glycosylated proteins, proteoglycans, phospholipids, metalloproteinases) - Development of dental tissues : dentinogenesis, amelogenesis - Pulp biology, adult STEM cells, recruitment and differentiation- Tissue engineering - biocompatibility of restorative biomaterials with pulp cells.

Prof. Ponisseril Somasundaran is a Professor of National Science Foundation Industry/University Cooperative Center for Particles and Surfactants Langmuir Center for Colloids and Interfaces, Columbia University, New York, USA. He is elected as a Chairman of the Henry Krumb School at Columbia University, as Chair of Department of Chemical Engineering, Material Science & Mineral Engineering in 1992 and 1995. He is the recipient of Antoine M. Gaudin Award (1982), the Robert H. Richards Award (l987), the Arthur F. Taggart Award for best paper (1987) of AIME, “Most Distinguished Achievement in Engineering” award from AINA. Prof. Ponisseril Somasundaran's research interests includes a wide spectrum of environmental problems including Greener Chemistry, (personal care & mining), enhanced oil recovery, oil spill, remediation, tar sands, coal cleaning, sludge treatment, waste water treatment (heavy metals), and nanotoxicity, Adhesive interactions, Interactions of Surfactants & Surfactant Mixtures, Mixed Surfactant Systems, Study of Conformations and Orientations of Polymers, Toxicity of Nano particles, etc.

Dr. Christian Parigger is an Associate Professor in the Department of of Physics at University of Tn Space Institute, USA. He received his Ph.D in Physics from University of Otago in 1986, B.S., M.S degrees from University of Innsbruck, Austria. Dr. Parigger was Acting Director for Computer Services at UTSI from 1999. Dr. Christian Parigger's research interests includes experimental and theoretical physics, particularly electromagnetic interactions, quantum optics, non-linear optics, atomic and molecular physics; experience with argon-ion and narrow-line dye lasers, high vacuum physics, digital electronics, sub-picosecond laser systems, optical pico-second amplifiers, nano-second pulsed excimer and dye lasers, time-resolved spectroscopy, high power phenomena, laser induced plasma physics, laser induced breakdown spectroscopy, laser induced fluorescence thermometer, laser fluorescence velocimeter, optical bistability, etc.

Prof. Yeoung Sang Yun is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Director of Environmental Biotechnology National Research Laboratory at Chonbuk National University, South Korea. Previosly he was a Chair at School of Engineering from 2013-2015. He completed his Ph.D. at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in Biochemical Engineering. Prof. Yun awarded with Great Minds of the 21st Century, ABI in 2005, Best Paper Award, Korean Society of Environmental Engineers in 2006. Prof. Yeoung Sang Yun's research interests biosorbents and biosorption process, fate and degradation of emerging contaminants, and bio-inspired nanomaterials synthesis. He has nearly 20 years of experience in environmental biotechnology and biomaterials research.

Dr. Hanwu Lei is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering at Washington State University, USA. He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at the South Dakota State University from 2007 to 2009. He received his Ph.D. and M.Sc degrees in the Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering, University of Minnesota, and B.S in Grain Science and Engineering, Wuxi University of Light Industry. Dr. Lei honored with "Outstanding Services", Association of Overseas Chinese Agricultural, Biological, and Food Engineers (AOCABFE) and Early Career Award. Dr. Hanwu Lei's research interests includes catalysis processes, catalysts development, biomass conversions, bio-oil upgrading and catalysis for Jet fuels, phenols, aromatics, cycloalkanes, hydrocarbons, activated carbon, nanocarbon, CO2 absorbent, and bio-based chemicals production.

Dr. Michelina Catauro is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Information at Second University of Naples, Italy. Dr. Catauro in 1984 enrolled at the University of Naples “Federico II” at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences for a study course in Chemistry. She was awarded an Erasmus Program Scholarship for the academic year 1989/90 sponsored by the University of East Anglia’s School of Chemical Sciences in Norwich. Dr. Michelina Catauro's research interests focused on the synthesis and characterization of glasses materials, glasses-ceramic and organic-inorganic hybrid nano composites obtained via sol-gel technique. Her main objective is to broaden her knowledge of the glasses state, to study the relationships connecting chemical composition, micro structure and physical-chemical properties of inorganic glasses and organic-inorganic hybrid materials with high technological interest with particular attention to their application in the biomedical field.
