Prof. Bullock is an Clinical Professor of Community Health and a research epidemiologist in ocular diseases. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Medical School, class of 1968. Bullock was an intern in internal medicine at Washington University in St. Louis before serving as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy. After residency training in ophthalmology at Yale University, he completed fellowships at the University of California, San Francisco, and the Mayo Clinic. He received a Master of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Wright State University and an MPH from Harvard in 2003. He completed additional training from the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, the CDC in Atlanta, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and the Pasteur Institute in Paris. He held a clinical faculty position at Stanford University before coming to Wright State, where he served as Professor and Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology, Associate Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, and was named the Brage Golding Distinguished Professor of Research. As a Professor of Physiology and Biophysics, he investigated and published numerous papers concerning a variety of ocular injuries. He also was a lecturer in Law and Medicine at the University of Dayton School of Law. Dr. Bullock is the author or co-author of more than 240 scientific publications. His research influenced the market withdrawal of two general anesthetics, a warning label for a pharmaceutical agent whose inappropriate use resulted in blindness, and a Consumer Products Safety Commission-mandated warning label. He attained Fellowship status from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the American College of Epidemiology. In 2011 he received the Outstanding Scientific Project Award from the Vision Care Section of the American Public Health Association. He has numerous inventions and has received teaching awards, copyrights, and trademarks. He has given more than 500 lectures throughout the world, a number of which were distinguished named lectureships, and was President and Secretary-Treasurer of two international ophthalmological societies. He has served as a consultant to the National Institutes of Health, the Hospital Albert Schweitzer in Haiti, the U.S. Veteran’s Administration, the U.S. Air Force, the American Medical Association, and the Harvard-Hsiao Resource-Based Relative Value Study. He practiced ophthalmology in the Dayton, Ohio area for over 25 years, served on the editorial boards of 24 medical journals (including Nature [Scientific Reports / Public Health]), has been recognized as “One of Ohio’s Finest Citizens” by the Ohio House of Representatives, and was listed in a “Best Doctors in America” publication. For the last ten years, Dr. Bullock has been quoted in The New York Times and published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

Prof. Dewei Qi is a Professor in the Department of Chemical and Paper Engineering at Western Michigan University, United States of America. Dewei Qi Worked as a visiting professor at Air Force Base, Wright Patterson, Dayton, OH, National Institute of Aerospace, Institute for computer applications in science & engineering, NASA, langley NASA. He received his Ph.D. in Physics at University of Waterloo, Canada, Post-Doctoral Fellowship, University of Waterloo, Canada, 1992-1992. Prof. Dewei Qi research interest includes lattice-Boltzmann simulations of multi flexible bodies in fluids, fiber physics, paper making, recycling, blood and bio-fluids.

Prof. Dong Shi-Hai is a professor in the Department of mathematics at National Polytechnic Institute. Dong Shi-Hai received his Ph.D from the Institute of High Energy Physics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1996-1999. He received his master degree from Liaoning Normal University for the Department of Physics in 1993-1996. He received his Bachelor Degree from Dalian University for the Department of Physics in 1989-1993. Prof. Dong Shi-Hai research interests includes Quantum physics, Group theory (symmetry) and its applications Quantum computation.

Dr. David G Foster is a Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at University of Rochester, United States of America. Dr. David G Foster recieved his Ph.D from the University of Rochester in department of Chemical Engineering in 1999. He received his master of science from the University of Rochester in department of Chemical Engineering in 1994. He received his Bachelor of Science from Rochester Institute of Technology in the department of chemistry in 1988. Prof. David G Foster was awarded by Wadsworth C Sykes Faculty Engineering in the year 2016, Engineering Professor of the Year 2011, Wadsworth C Sykes Faculty Engineering Award in the year 2011, Engineering Professor of the Year 2007, Special Recognition Award in the year 2006, Team Achievement Silver Medal in the year 2005, Distinguished Inventor’s Award - Eastman Kodak Company in the year 2001. Prof. David G Foster research interest includes Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Transport phenomena (fluid mechanics, heat and mass transport), Biological Fluid Mechanics, Advanced Materials.

Dr. Linghao Zhong is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at the Pennsylvania State University at Mont Alto. Dr. Zhong received his PhD from University of Rochester (NY). He moved to Penn State Mont Alto in 2003 after completing his postdoctoral training at Cornell University. His research is mainly focused on using computational tools to study the structure and dynamics of biomolecules. He has investigated on cellulose, as well proteins that are disease-related (such as prion protein and deubiquitinase). Dr. Zhong is very interested in the maintaining and advancing STEM education nation-wide. In recent years, he also serves the campus community as the Assistant Director of Academic Affairs. In this capacity, Dr. Zhong collaborates with various departments on campus to ensure the fulfillment of course offerings to our students. Dr. Zhong received his PhD from University of Rochester (NY).

Dr. Don Liu currently is the Contractor’s Trust Endowed Associate Professor in Mathematics & Statistics, and Mechanical Engineering at Louisiana Tech University, a Tier 1 national university in USA. He received his Ph.D. in applied mathematics in 2004 from the Division of Applied Mathematics, Brown University and his prior Ph.D. in Engineering Thermophysics in 1998 from Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Liu’s research has been supported by NSF with a total funding of $0.75M as PI and $20M as Co-PI. He has contributed 84 publications and 13 invited talks including one keynote speech in an international conference in Hong Kong in 2014. Dr. Liu’s research areas include high order methods – spectral modal and nodal element method, medium order methods - finite element and finite difference methods, and discrete particle methods – smoothed particle hydrodynamics. In addition, Dr. Liu works on numerical solutions to partial differential equations, computational fluid dynamics, numerical heat transfer, modeling two-phase flows, computational geophysics, high performance computing with MPI, OpenMP, and parallel GPU computing.

Dr. Dimitrakopoulos is an Associate professor, director of the BioFluid Dynamics Laboratory in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the Universityof Maryland. Dr. Dimitrakopoulos received his Diploma degree in chemical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in chemical engineering (with option incomputational science and engineering) from the University of Illinoisat Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He completed his postdoctoral study in the Department of Chemical Engineering at California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Dr. Dimitrakopoulos research intrests involves the dynamics of droplets,capsules and erythrocytes in microfluidics, the microcirculation andporous media, hemodynamics and hemopathology in the microcirculation, thedynamics of synthetic and biological polymers as well as the development of novel computational methodologies for the accurate and efficientstudy of these physical systems. Dimitrakopoulos' research has resulted in publications in the Journalof Fluid Mechanics, Physics of Fluids, Journal of Computational Physics, Journal of Chemical Physics, Physical Review E, Physical Review Letters,Soft Matter and the Biophysical Journal. His group's work has been supported by grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the ACS Petroleum Research Fund,and Supercomputing Facilities from the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) which is supported by the National Science Foundation.

Dr. Eddie Y K NG is an Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering College of Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. Dr. Ng Yin Kwee received his Ph.D at Cambridge Univ. with a Cambridge Commonwealth Scholarship. Dr. Ng Yin Kwee received his PG Diploma in Teaching Higher Edu., NIE-NTU. Assoc Prof Ng Yin Kwee research interest includes His main area of research is thermal imaging, biomedical engineering; computational turbomachinery aerodynamics; marine sustainable energy problems; computational fluid dynamics & computational heat transfer such as laser modelling, bioheat transfer analysis.
