Dr. Linghao Zhong is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at the Pennsylvania State University at Mont Alto. Dr. Zhong received his PhD from University of Rochester (NY). He moved to Penn State Mont Alto in 2003 after completing his postdoctoral training at Cornell University. His research is mainly focused on using computational tools to study the structure and dynamics of biomolecules. He has investigated on cellulose, as well proteins that are disease-related (such as prion protein and deubiquitinase). Dr. Zhong is very interested in the maintaining and advancing STEM education nation-wide. In recent years, he also serves the campus community as the Assistant Director of Academic Affairs. In this capacity, Dr. Zhong collaborates with various departments on campus to ensure the fulfillment of course offerings to our students. Dr. Zhong received his PhD from University of Rochester (NY).
