He is Head of the Nuclear Medicine Service, PET/CT Centre at Rovigo General Hospital in Veneto (Italy).He is Director of the Department of Imaging (Radiology, Medical Physics, Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Centre) at Rovigo General Hospital in Veneto (Italy). He is/has been member of various scientific Societies (American Society of Nuclear Medicine-SNM, European Association of Nuclear Medicine EANM, Italian Association of Nuclear Medicine-AIMN, Italian Study Group on Radioguided Surgery-GISCRIS and so forth). He has been Chair of the Parathyroid Study Group of the Italian Association of Nuclear Medicine-AIMN from 2000 to 2008. Dr. Abu Ajaj is a highly motivated and experienced R&D chemist in Pharmaceutical chemistry and Drug targeting in Oncology with an extensive experience in Preparative Organic synthetic chemistry in a wide range of chemical fields. Dr. Mahmoud Ameri is the Senior Director of Pharmaceutical Development at Zosano Pharma in Fremont, USA. He is the Vice President of Research and Development at Zosano Pharma, a specialty pharmaceutical company developing products with intracutaneous microneedle patch technology. He is responsible for developing liquid formulations that enable uniform coating on microdneedles. Prior to Zosano he was a Principal Scientist at Alza where he co-developed the innovative microneedle patch system. Before joining ALZA, Dr. Ameri was at PowderJect Technologies, where he focused on developing particles suitable for powder injection. He has over 20 patents and patent applications. He received his PhD from The University of Manchester.
