Dr. David Reznik is Chief of the Dental Service for the Grady Health System in Atlanta, Georgia. He also serves as Director of the Oral Health Center of Grady’s Infectious Disease Program, a program he founded 23 years ago. He has been providing oral health care services for people living with HIV disease in the Atlanta metropolitan area for over twenty-eight years. He is founder and President of the HIVdent (HIV Dent Alliance), a not-for-profit organization of concerned healthcare providers committed to assuring access to high quality oral health care services for people living with HIV disease. Dr. Reznik has lectured and published extensively on oral health concerns for people living with HIV disease. Dr. Reznik is also the associate director of the Lutheran Medical Center AEGD Program in Georgia. Dr. Reznik was a member of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS for four and a half years and served as Chair of the Treatment and Care and Domestic sub-committees during his tenure. He was honored at the 2008 Ryan White All Grantees meeting with the Health Resources Services Administration – HIV/AIDS Bureau - Associate Administrator’s Award: “For his years of passion, dedication commitment and national leadership on HIV oral health care, and for serving as a champion for national health care provider education." In 2014, Dr. Reznik was named one of Atlanta’s Healthcare Heroes by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Dr. David Reznik research interests includes Epidemiology of candidiasis in HIV+ patients, treatment and typing of human papilloma virus-related oral diseases, metagenomics of HIV-related periodontal disease, HIV/AIDS Screening in the Dental Setting.

Prof. Peter A Clark is a Professor of Medical Ethics and Director of the Institute of Clinical Bioethics at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. He is also the Bioethicist for the Mercy Health System of Philadelphia, Aria Jefferson Health System, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, Catholic Charites of Maryland and Caritas Baby Hospital in Bethlehem, Palestine. Father Clark received his Ph.D. from Loyola University of Chicago and is author of numerous articles in medical and bioethics journals. He is also author of To Treat or Not to Treat: the Ethical Methodology of Richard A. McCormick as Applied to Treatment Decisions for Handicapped Newborns published by Creighton University Press and Death With Dignity: Ethical and Practical Considerations for Caregivers of the Terminally Ill, published by University of Chicago Press. Prof. Clark was honored with Michael J Morris Grant for Scholarly Research for the year (2011-2012). Prof. Peter A Clark research interests include medical futility, pain management, prejudice in the medical profession, the medical use of marijuana, tube feedings and PVS patients, male circumcision and HIV/AIDS, face transplantation, and the Ashley treatment, etc.

Prof. Sylvia Lee Huang is working as a professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at the New York University School of Medicine, USA. Prof. Sylvia Lee Huang received her Ph.D. in the department of Biophysics at University of Pittsburgh. Prof. Sylvia Lee Huang completed her M.Sc. in the department of Biochemistry at University of Idaho, Moscow. Prof. Sylvia Lee Huang completed her B.SC. in the department of Agricultural chemistry at National Taiwan University. Prof. Sylvia Lee Huang was awarded for Distinguished Professor, 4th Military Medical University, Xi’an, China in 2004. Distinguished Visitor, Nobel Laureate, Severo Ochoa Institute, Spain in 2002. United Nation Diplomate on AIDS in 2001. Prof. Sylvia Lee Huang research interest includes First to Propose and to Provide Experimental Evidence for the Reversed Flow of Genetic Information. Discovery of Messenger Specific Initiation Factors and Small Regulatory RNAs in Gene Expression.

Dr. Yuanan Lu is a Professor and Director in the Department of Public Health Sciences, University of Hawaii at Manoa, USA. Dr. Yuanan received his Ph.D. in 1992 in the Department of Microbiology from University of Hawaii at Mano, he did his Post doc. from 1995-1996 in Molecular Virology from University of California at Los Angeles. He received International Fellowship Award, State Ministry of Agriculture, Beijing, China in 1985, Travel Award of Medical Virology Club (for 3 years), American Society for Virology in 1995-1997. Dr. Yuanan Lu research interests include environmental and medical virology with the overall goal of employing cutting-edge molecular biology and virology technology for the development of novel strategies for effective detection and diagnosis, preventive and therapeutic approaches to combat pathogenic viruses of humans and marine species, including novel gene therapy for viral infection, marine biotechnology, and new approaches for water quality and risk assessment.

Prof. Brian Wigdahl is working as a Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Drexel University College of Medicine, USA. Prof. Wigdahl received his Ph.D. in the department of Microbiology (major field), Biochemistry (minor field), Pharmacology (minor field)at The Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1980. Prof. Wigdahl completed his B.A. degree in the department of Biology (major), Chemistry (minor)at Augsburg College, Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1974. Prof. Wigdahl was awarded for Biology Honor Student, Augsburg College, Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1974. Dr. Jagdish Khubchandani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology and Health Science at Ball State University, Muncie, USA. He received his Ph. D. in Health Education/Epidemiology from University of Toledo in 2010. He worked as Assistant Professor of Community Health Education in the Department of Physiology and Health Science at Ball State University. His research interests are in the field of Clinical and Social Epidemiology, Community and Global Health. His research has been highlighted by popular media outlets like Fox News, US News and World Report, CNBC, Yahoo News, Huffington Post, and the Chicago Tribune.

Dr. James Kiwanuka Tondo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at North Carolina State University, USA. Dr. James completed his Ph. D. from the University of Connecticut in 1999. He received his MA from the University of Connecticut in 1996. Dr. Kiwanuka Tondo is Co-Chair of the Advisory Board of North Carolina Community AIDS Fund (NCCAF), member of the Board of Directors of Maama Watali, Uganda, member of the Board of Directors for and Stop Hunger. Dr. Kiwanuka-Tondo has received several awards including the Outstanding Global Engagement Award 2015, the inaugural Lawrence M. Clark Faculty Excellence Award 2013. Dr. James Research interests includes research on HIV and AIDS, his area of research is health communication campaigns with particular emphasis on HIV/AIDS.

Dr. Filippo Canducci is a Scientist in the department of Microbiology. He completed his Ph. D in 2005 from Univerity of Trieste, Italy. He was honored with Carlo Urbani foundation Fellowship in 2004, Keystone Symposia fellowship award in 2005, Keystone Symposia fellowship award in 2007. Dr. Filippo Canducci research interests includes analyzing the variability of RNA Viruses, including HIV-1 and HCV by phylogenetic analysis or biological assays in the Laboratory of Microbiology and Virology. In 2003, he isolated and characterized the SARS Coronavirus strain HSR1, HIV-1 infection in in-vitro in-vivo by original phenotypic assays with a particular focus on HIV-1 resistance to novel integrase inhibitors and on identification of novel antiretrovirals.

Dr. Oriana-Tabarrini is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Perugia since 2002. She is mainly involved in the design and synthesis of small molecules as pharmacological tools and potential chemotherapeutic agents. She has a longstanding experience in the design and synthesis of heterocyclic compounds, mainly quinolone derivatives, initially as antibacterials and more recently as antivirals.Dr. Oriana-Tabarrini research interests includes anti-cytomegalovirus and anti-influenza fields with the identification of compounds object of two patent applications, as well as derivatives as hepatitis C virus NS5B polymerase inhibitors. Other fields of interest are heterocyclic compounds as pump efflux inhibitors, and compounds active in Huntington disease.

Dr. Joyce Addo-Atuah is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Social/Behavioral/Administrative Sciences at the Touro College of Pharmacy, New York. Dr. Addo-Atuah obtained her B.Pharm degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana, an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy from the Victoria University of Manchester, United Kingdom, and a PhD in Health Outcomes & Policy Research from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN, USA. Dr. Addo-Atuah has many publications in peer-reviewed journals including “Accessibility of Antiretroviral Therapy in Ghana: Convenience of Access.” (Journal of Social Aspects of HIV/AIDS. 2012;9(2):74-87) and a review of the book “Stigma, discrimination, and living with HIV/AIDS: a cross-cultural perspective.” by Pranee Liamputtong (Front. Public Health.2015;3:242 doi: 10.3389/fpubh.2015.00242). She has also contributed extensively to the SAGE Encyclopedia of Pharmacology & Society. She serves on the Editorial Boards of 5 peer-reviewed journals and is a peer reviewer for many journals including the Bulletin of the World Health Organization, HIV Research & Palliative Care, the American Journal of Public Health, Archives of Community Medicine & Public Health, and Progress in Community Health Partnerships: Research, Education, and Action (PCHP), a Johns Hopkins University publication. Dr. Joyce Addo-Atuah reserch interests includes Healthcare Systems, and Health Policies, Health services and systems research, Access to healthcare, including medicines, and the outcomes of such access for various population groups. Special focus is on access to Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) and outcomes for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) etc.

Dr. Ruiling Guo is a Associate Professor in the Department of Health Sciences at the Idaho State University, USA. Dr. Ruiling Guo completed her Doctor of Health Administration at Central Michigan University,USA. Dr. Ruiling Guo completed her Master of Public Health Program at Idaho State University, USA. Dr. Ruiling Guo completed her Master of Library and Information Studies at McGillUniversity,Canada. Dr. Ruiling Guo completed her B.A. in Library Science in the Department of Information Management at Peking University, China.
