Prof. Dr. Michael Stark is specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology. His main interest is gynecological oncology. Prof. Stark is the scientific advisor of the European novel Tele-surgical system, scientific and medical advisor of the ELSAN, an 80-hospitals group in France and is a guest scientist at the Charite’s University hospital in Berlin. Since 2004 he has been the President of the New European Surgical Academy (NESA), an international inter-disciplinary surgical organization with members in 54 countries and a formal cooperation agreement with FIGO concerning transmission of knowledge to countries with limited resources. In 2011, Prof. Stark was nominated as the Medico Del Anno (Doctor of the Year) in Italy, and is an Honorary Member of the French, Polish, Russian and Italian Gynecological Associations.In the years 1983-2000 he was the medical director and head of Ob/Gyn department of the Misgav Ladach General Hospital in Jerusalem, and between 2001 and 2009 the chairman of all Ob/Gyn departments of the HELIOS Hospital Group in Europe. He modified operations like the vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy and Cesarean Section and developed the concept of single-entry natural orifice surgery. He was involved in the development of the trans-oral thyroidectomy and TransDouglas abdominal surgery.

Dr. Cignini Received his MD in 2000 from “Sapienza” University of Rome, went on to complete his internship at “Umberto I” Hospital in Rome, his residency at Regina Elena National Institute for Cancer Treatment and Research in Rome, and his fellowship in ultrasound Doppler and new technologies in Gynecology-Obstetrics and Reproductive in Umberto I Hospital in Roma. Active in the ultrasound community, Dr. Cignini has directed and organized a host of postgraduate ultrasound courses. Among his many roles in the ultrasound community, he is an elected fellow of the Italian College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a current board member of the Italian Society of Fetal Echocardiography. He serves as Executive Editor the Journal of Prenatal Medicine from 2007. He is also in the Editorial Board of Asian Pacific Journal of Reproduction (APJR), English, Speciality and Advisor Editorial Board, Webmed Central , board of Scientific Board Mediterranean Society for Metabolic Syndrome, Diabetes and Hypertension in Pregnancy, Editorial Board of the International Journal of Radiology Public Knowledge Project (ISSN 2313-3406) and Editorial Board of the Gynecology, Obstetrics & Women's Health SOJ. His contributions to the field of fetal maternal Medicine have been recognized by the receipt of two University of Rome "La Sapienza" awards for studies of fetal lung maturity. He contributes to some international studies sponsored by the National Centre of Research (CNR) in Rome in intramniotic surfactant. Having authored many peer-reviewed articles, he has focused his research on the detection and significance of fetal anomalies. Dr. Cignini did the original research that linked nuchal thickening directly to progesterone use. He has also made important contributions to the implementation of fetal biometric charts for fetal neurosonography. He has contributed chapters textbooks in the field. More recently he has turned her attention to imaging in gynecology and has just publish a textbook in 2014 entitled Gynecologic Ultrasound – a problem based approach.

Prof. Position as a member of the research faculty group in Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Ohio State University College of Medicine from 2012 to 2014. Since 2014, Dr. Kayisli is an Assoc. Prof in Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine. His publication record is over 90 peer-reviewed article published in world class high impact journals, more than 3000 citation to his published studies by others from all over the World, and more than 100 oral and poster presentation (presented in international congress including Society for Gynecologic Investigation (SGI), American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), European Society for Human reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
