Dr. Ted Rosen graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School cum laude. Dr. Rosen trained in internal medicine at the University of Alabama and in dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine where he currently serves as Professor of Dermatology and Chief of Dermatology at the Houston Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Rosen recently served a term on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a past Vice-President of Texas Dermatological Society, a past-President and Secretary-Treasurer of the Houston Dermatological Society and prior Chairman and Secretary-Treasurer of the Dermatology Section, Southern Medical Association. Dr. Rosen has written over 300 peer-reviewed journal articles, 24 textbook chapters and 3 textbooks. He has been a plenary speaker for many the national dermatology societies, 26 American state dermatology associations, as well as most major US metropolitan dermatology societies. On a personal note, Rosen is a lifelong numismatist, and a devotee of horror and Sci-Fi films. He has been married for 42 years to his college sweetheart, and helped raise four very successful adult children.

While in the Air Force, he performed radiology services at the USAF Hospital in Udorn, Thailand, and acted as Consulting Radiologist at the U.S. Embassy (Vientiane, Laos). Dr. Bard has been recognized with many honors and offices, including serving as an International Advisory Board Member of the International Society of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound from 1999-2007.

Dr. Win L Chiou received his Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 1969 from University of California San Francisco Medical Center. He taught for two years at Washington State University and for 34 years at University of Illinois at Chicago including serving as department head and director of graduate study of pharmacy. After that he started to work for his own company, Winlind Skincare LLC. He has published more than 200 papers and has been an invited speaker in areas of pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, skincare and toenail treatments for about 100 times worldwide. In addition, he has served as a consultant to the FDA, drug companies and law firms, and has served on editorial boards of nine journals. He is considered a world authority on pharmacokinetics and drug absorption. Many of his theoretical papers and commentaries are well cited; he likes to challenge many decades or century old conventional concepts in pharmaceutical, biological and medical sciences. His current major research interest is in areas of canker sore, baldness and toenail disorders. Outside of academia, he is the inventor of Gris-Peg, Dr. Win's Eternal Spring Serum, Dr. Win's Eternal Spring SPF 32 Broad Spectrum Serum, Dr. Win's Fungal Nail Therapy, and Bullet Acne Aid. Most recently, he has been invited as a plenary speaker at the 2016 Global Dermatologist Meeting in Dubai and to review manuscripts for dermatology journals including Journal of Investigative Dermatology.

He leads systemic photoprotection and non-invasive optical diagnosis. To this end, he was the founder and is the President of the International Confocal Group. His research work has been recognized by various US institutions and societies (Skin Cancer Foundation; National Institutes of Human Resources, among others), and has resulted in over 200 peer-reviewed papers, and over 30 book chapters, being the Editor of three books which have contributed to spreading his scientific knowledge and expertise throughout the medical community.

Dr. Thurmond is a recognized expert in histamine receptors and their role in inflammation with over 90 scientific articles, reviews and book chapters as well as the editor of a book on histamine in inflammation.He received his B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Virginia and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona. Dr. Thurmond studied membrane biophysics at the University of Arizona and worked on the molecular aspects of rhodopsin function during his postdoctoral training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with Dr. Gobind Khorana, Nobel Laurate 1968. After the completion of her fellowship Dr. Lazova started her academic career as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Dermatology, Yale University School of Medicine in 1997. Dr. Lazova's main interests are in melanocytic lesions and particularly Spitzoid neoplasms. Recently, she introduced Imaging Mass Spectrometry as a method to be used in the diagnostic process of difficult melanocytic lesions. Dr. Lazova has taught many courses and directed numerous sessions at national and international meetingsin the USA and throughout the world. She has been a Director of the Dermatopathology Fellowship at Yale University for more than eleven years. Dr. Lazova has trained many fellows and residents. She has developed an international program and has supervised and taught over forty-five physicians from four continents over a13-year period.
