Dr. Ted Rosen graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School cum laude. Dr. Rosen trained in internal medicine at the University of Alabama and in dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine where he currently serves as Professor of Dermatology and Chief of Dermatology at the Houston Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Rosen recently served a term on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a past Vice-President of Texas Dermatological Society, a past-President and Secretary-Treasurer of the Houston Dermatological Society and prior Chairman and Secretary-Treasurer of the Dermatology Section, Southern Medical Association. Dr. Rosen has written over 300 peer-reviewed journal articles, 24 textbook chapters and 3 textbooks. He has been a plenary speaker for many the national dermatology societies, 26 American state dermatology associations, as well as most major US metropolitan dermatology societies. On a personal note, Rosen is a lifelong numismatist, and a devotee of horror and Sci-Fi films. He has been married for 42 years to his college sweetheart, and helped raise four very successful adult children.

Dr. Robert Laurance Bard is the Director from Radiology Department in Brad Cancer Center (New York). Dr. Bard received his Medical Degree from SUNY HSC Syracuse in 1968. He completed his Internship at Harkness Hospital and Medical Center (San Francisco) followed by first year Residency in Radiology at Downstate Medical Center (New York). He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Chief Radiologist, attaining the rank of Major. While in the Air Force, he performed radiology services at the USAF Hospital in Udorn, Thailand, and acted as Consulting Radiologist at the U.S. Embassy (Vientiane, Laos). Dr. Bard has been recognized with many honors and offices, including serving as an International Advisory Board Member of the International Society of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound from 1999-2007.

Dr. Win L Chiou received his Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 1969 from University of California San Francisco Medical Center. He taught for two years at Washington State University and for 34 years at University of Illinois at Chicago including serving as department head and director of graduate study of pharmacy. After that he started to work for his own company, Winlind Skincare LLC. He has published more than 200 papers and has been an invited speaker in areas of pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, skincare and toenail treatments for about 100 times worldwide. In addition, he has served as a consultant to the FDA, drug companies and law firms, and has served on editorial boards of nine journals. He is considered a world authority on pharmacokinetics and drug absorption. Many of his theoretical papers and commentaries are well cited; he likes to challenge many decades or century old conventional concepts in pharmaceutical, biological and medical sciences. His current major research interest is in areas of canker sore, baldness and toenail disorders. Outside of academia, he is the inventor of Gris-Peg, Dr. Win's Eternal Spring Serum, Dr. Win's Eternal Spring SPF 32 Broad Spectrum Serum, Dr. Win's Fungal Nail Therapy, and Bullet Acne Aid. Most recently, he has been invited as a plenary speaker at the 2016 Global Dermatologist Meeting in Dubai and to review manuscripts for dermatology journals including Journal of Investigative Dermatology.

Dr. Salvador Gonzalez, accredited Full Professor by the Quality and Accreditation Evaluation Spanish Agency, serves as Associate Professor of Medicine Department at Alcala University in Madrid, Spain and Visiting Faculty Member in the Dermatology Service at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA. Dr. Gonzalez also joined the faculty of the Dermatology Department at Harvard Medical School, Boston for over 10 years. Dr. Gonzalez research interests focused on skin cancer chemoprevention, photoprotection and optical diagnoses. His scientific contribution has a hirsch factor of 29, a total number of citations of 2,421 and an accumulated total impact factor of 390.933. He leads systemic photoprotection and non-invasive optical diagnosis. To this end, he was the founder and is the President of the International Confocal Group. His research work has been recognized by various US institutions and societies (Skin Cancer Foundation; National Institutes of Human Resources, among others), and has resulted in over 200 peer-reviewed papers, and over 30 book chapters, being the Editor of three books which have contributed to spreading his scientific knowledge and expertise throughout the medical community.

Dr. Eloisa Gitto is Professor of Pediatrics at University of Messina, Italy. She is the Director of the Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the University Hospital of Messina, Italy. She received her medical degree at University of Messina, Italy and her research trainings at the UT Health Science Center of San Antonio, Texas, and at the University of Chicago, USA. In addition to research, Dr. Gitto teaches Pediatrics and Intensive Care Medicine to medical students and postgraduate pediatric fellows. Dr. Gitto's professional interests are in the area of oxidative stress, mainly in studying the effects of antioxidant melatonin in many neonatal diseases, in the area of neonatal and pediatric intensive care, with particular interest to ventilation strategies.

Dr. Aristoteles Rosmaninho is currently Head of Department of Dermatology and Venereology at Unidade Local de Saude do Alto Minho, E.P.E, Portugal. He previously worked as Dermatovenereologist Hospitalar Assistant at Centro Hospitalar do Porto. He received his medical degree from Medicine Faculty, Universidade de Coimbra, Portugal. He is member of the Portuguese Society of Dermatovenereology. He participated in several clinical trials, mainly in the psoriasis area and use of nanoparticles for the improved therapy of severe skin diseases. His research interest includes: skin cancer, dermatological oncology, neutrophilic dermatosis and psoriasis.

Dr. Michael R Hamblin is a Principal Investigator at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine, Massachusetts General Hospital, an Associate Professor of Dermatology, Harvard Medical School and affiliated faculty at Harvard-MIT Division of Health Science and Technology. Dr. Hamblin directs a laboratory of around a dozen scientists who work in photodynamic therapy and low-level light therapy. He has published 320 peer-reviewed articles, is Associate Editor for 10 journals and serves on NIH Study-Sections. He has edited 11 proceedings volumes together with eight other major textbooks on PDT and photomedicine. In 2011 Dr. Hamblin was honored by election as a Fellow of SPIE.

Robin L.Thurmond, Ph.D. is the Early Development Portfolio Leader for Rheumatology and Psoriasis with the Clinical Research group at Janssen Research & Development in La Jolla, CA. Prior to that Dr.Thurmond was a Research Fellow with the Immunology Drug Discovery group at the same site. Dr. Thurmond's research involves investigation of novel mechanisms of action targeting new anti-inflammatory medicines for diseases such as asthma, atopic dermatitis and rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. Thurmond is a recognized expert in histamine receptors and their role in inflammation with over 90 scientific articles, reviews and book chapters as well as the editor of a book on histamine in inflammation.He received his B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Virginia and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona. Dr. Thurmond studied membrane biophysics at the University of Arizona and worked on the molecular aspects of rhodopsin function during his postdoctoral training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with Dr. Gobind Khorana, Nobel Laurate 1968. He began his career with Johnson & Johnson in 1996 at the R.W. Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute in Raritan N.J. and has been with Johnson & Johnson for 20 years.

Dr. Bhuvnesh K Sharma, PhD is a Senior Director R&D (Translational Oncology) at ScyTeK Laboratories Inc., Logan UT. He also holds appointment as Consultant, Celprogen Inc. Torrance, CA. He earned his MS and PhD degrees from India. He did his Post-Doctoral Trainings in Molecular Oncology/ Immuno-Virology at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School, London, UK and Johns Hopkins University Medical Institutions, Baltimore, MD, USA. Dr. Sharma has previously served as Adjunct Associate Professor, Georgetown Univ. School of Medicine Washington DC; Senior Scientist, Weinberg Cancer Institute MedStar Health Franklin Square Medical Center, Baltimore, MD; Deputy Director of Institute of Preventive Oncology, N. Delhi, India; Visiting Scholar, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD; Visiting Scientist, Univ. of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. Dr. Sharma is the recipient of awards & other distinguished recognitions for his discoveries on predictive cancer biomarkers. He has published numerous articles on cancer biomarkers and conducted research reviews on Emerging Cancer Vaccines and Intralesional tumor Immunotherapy. He is a noted expert in Melanoma Stem Cell research and Newer Optimism for Targeted Cancer Therapeutics. Dr. Sharma is also serving as an editorial board member of prestigious journals in Biomedicine/ Stem Cell Research/ Oncology. His area of expertise includes Preclinical Cancer Research, Cancer Stem Cell Research, Genomic Tumor Pathology, Diagnostic Immunohistochemistry, Predictive Cancer Tissue Biomarkers, Tumor Immuno-Virology, Companion Cancer Diagnostics and Exploratory Adjuvant Tumor Immunotherapy.

Dr. Sophie Worobec is an Associate Professor in Department of Dermatology at University of Illinois. Dr. Worobec is a dermatologist in Chicago, Illinois and is affiliated with University of Illinois Hospital, Chicago. She received her medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. She is the author of numerous papers and book chapters. She served as the Medical Director of the Regional Hansen's Disease Clinic in Chicago from 1982 to 1988. She worked at Johnson and Johnson from 1988 to 1992; Kaiser Permanente for one year, and the University of Rochester from July 1993 to August 1999. She served as President of the Buffalo-Rochester Dermatological Society from 1997-1998. Dr. Worobec received Discovery Award from the Robert Wood Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute in 1991; the Chicago Dermatological Society's Founder's Award in 2005, and was named to Best Doctors in America from 2009 through 2016. Her Research Interests include Cutaneous Lymphomas and related diseases, Dermatopharmacology, Contact Dermatitis and Hansen's Disease.

Dr. Rossitza Lazova graduated from Sofia Medical University, Sofia, Bulgaria, trained in Clinical Pathology at Bulgaria, immigrated to the United States, and completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. She trained in Dermatopathology with Dr. A. Bernard Ackerman at the Institute for Dermatopathology at Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. After the completion of her fellowship Dr. Lazova started her academic career as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Dermatology, Yale University School of Medicine in 1997. Dr. Lazova's main interests are in melanocytic lesions and particularly Spitzoid neoplasms. Recently, she introduced Imaging Mass Spectrometry as a method to be used in the diagnostic process of difficult melanocytic lesions. Dr. Lazova has taught many courses and directed numerous sessions at national and international meetingsin the USA and throughout the world. She has been a Director of the Dermatopathology Fellowship at Yale University for more than eleven years. Dr. Lazova has trained many fellows and residents. She has developed an international program and has supervised and taught over forty-five physicians from four continents over a13-year period. Dr. Lazova has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a co-author of two textbooks: Differential Diagnosis in Dermatopathology II, second edition, and Atlas of Practical Mohs Histopathology.

Dr. Shambhu Roy is currently Principal Scientist at BioReliance,Rockville, Maryland. Dr. Roy has held various scientific and supervisory positions in contract research organizations. He has conducted thousands of assays in multiple in vivo and in-vitro test systems, has participated in developing and validating new assay system to meet the emerging challenges in genetic toxicology. Dr. Roy has published and presented his research works in multiple peer-reviewed publications and meetings. Dr. Roy's current focus is on the development and validation of 3D skin model based micronucleus assay for the safety assessment of dermatological product, particularly for cosmetic industries. The 3D skin model resembles the human skin structurally and functionally and being viewed as a promising tool for the safety assessment to replace the animal testing (3Rs principle).

Dr. Shohreh Nafisi is Research Collaborator in Department of Dermatology at University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Nafisi received her undergraduate degree from Shahid Beheshti University (Iran). She obtained her Ph.D. degrees with the collaboration of Chemistry-Biology Department, Quebec University, Canada. She carried out postdoctoral research at Dermatology Department, UCSF, CA, USA for Nanodermatology, under advisory of Professor Howard I. Maibach. She was promoted to the ranks of full professor in 2009 from Department of Chemistry, IAUCTB, Tehran. She is now collaborating with different research centers, mainly Dermatology Department, UCSF, CA, USA in the field of Nanodermatology and with Chemistry-Biology Department, Quebec University, CA. She has published more than 50 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and 7 books or chapter of the book with top international publishers.
