Prof. Hans Laufer is a Research Professor of Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology and Director of Laboratory of Invertebrate Reproduction and Development at University of Connecticut, USA. He received his Ph.D at Cornell University in 1957, MS at Brooklyn College in 1954. Prof. Hans Laufer research interests include gene regulation during development and reproduction, hormonal and molecular interactions and comparative endocrinology of invertebrates, particularly hormones affecting reproduction, morphogenesis and metamorphosis. He is particularly interested in elucidating the signal transduction pathways involved in the regulation of reproductive and developmental events of crustacea and how environmental endocrine disrupting alkylphenolic compounds such as bisphenol A interact with the normal pathways and their hormonal receptors.

Prof. Swapan K Ray is a Professor of Department of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology in School of Medicine at University of South Carolina, USA. He worked as Associate Professor of Department of Neurosciences and Assistant Professor of Department of Neurology at University of South Carolina. Prof. Swapan K Ray expertise in biochemistry, molecular biology, neuro-oncology, and neuroscience. Currently, his most important areas of investigation include neuro-oncology and neurological diseases. He has been conducting research for more than 25 years in different malignant diseases of blood, breast, brain, and adrenal gland. He also conducts molecular studies in neurodegenerative diseases.

Prof. Esmaiel Jabbari is a Professor of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering and the Director of Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering and Drug Delivery at the University of South Carolina, USA. He received his Ph.D. from Purdue University in Chemical Engineering in 1993. Prof. Jabbari research is focused on engineering 3D multi-cellular co-culture systems and the effect of spatio temporal delivery of growth factors and physico-mechanical factors in the micro environment on function and fate of stem cells in 3D co-culture systems for applications in skeletal tissue regeneration and cancer stem cell therapy. Prof. Jabbari research is supported by NIH, NSF, AO Orthopedic Foundation, and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation. Prof. Jabbari currently serves as the Technical Chair as well as the Programming Chair for Bionanotechnology theme for the annual conference of Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society (EMBS).

Prof. Michel Goldberg is a Professor at University Paris Cité (Paris Descartes) & INSERM UMR-S 1124. He received his PhD from University René Descartes in 1973. Prof. Michel field of research are, Extracellular matrix and biomineralizations (phosphorylated and glycosylated proteins, proteoglycans, phospholipids, metalloproteinases), Development of dental tissues: dentinogenesis, amelogenesis, Pulp biology, adult STEM cells, recruitment and differentiation, Tissue engineering, Biocompatibility of restorative biomaterials with pulp cells. Prof. Michel published about 230 articles in international journals.

Dr. Mohan C Vemuri is a Director of Research and Development for Cell Biology at Thermo Fisher Scientific. He received his Ph.D from Sri Venkateswara University (1982) India, Executive MBA from Suny at Buffalo (2009) USA. Dr. Vemuri research efforts focused on developing improved methods for fetal transplantation of engineered hematopoietic stem cells for blood and bone marrow transplantation. He developed cell screening assay systems for Parkinson's disease drug discovery. He collaborates with researchers in academia and industry, striving towards the successful utilization of stem cells in regenerative cell therapies. Dr. Vemuri has authored over 50 publications and has edited or co-edited several stem cell focused books, including Stem Cell Assays, Regulatory Networks in Stem Cells, MSC assays and applications, MSCs and Cell Therapy, Neural Development and Stem Cells and most recently, Pluripotent Stem Cell Assays by Springer Press.

Dr. Yong Qian is an Adjunct Professor of Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at West Virginia University and a toxicologist and a group leader at National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). He received his Ph.D. from West Virginia University in 1999, USA. Dr. Yong has experience and expertise in molecular toxicology and cell biology. The areas of Dr. Yong research are: nano particle-induced pulmonary diseases, identification of lung cancer biomarkers, per fluorinated chemicals in occupational safety and health, heavy metal-induced carcinogenesis. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed journal papers. Dr. Yong contributions to sciences are: identification of novel biomarkers and molecular mechanisms of multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT)-induced pulmonary diseases, including fibrosis, for early detection and treatment interventions; application of bioinformatics in toxicity study and cancer research; identification of toxicological mechanisms involved in printer-emitted engineered nanoparticle-induced toxicity; and identification of the role of ROS and cellular cytoskeleton in heavy metal, ethanol, and per fluoro octane sulphonate in cellular toxicity.

Dr. Claudio Tiribelli is a Director of Liver Research Center of Trieste, Italy. He received his PhD from University of Triestein, Italy in 1975. Dr. Tiribelli research interests include neonatal jaundice, metabolic liver diseases, HCC, stem cells in HCC, bilirubin. Previously Dr. Tiribelli is a Head of the Liver Clinic and of the Department of Medicine, Trieste Medical Hospital and Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Trieste. He has about 574 publications.

Prof. Hemachandra Reddy is a Professor of Department of Cell Biology & Biochemistry at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and Executive Director and Chief Scientific Officer of Garrison Institute on Aging, USA. He received his PhD from University College, London in 1994. Prof Reddy research interest includes Molecular and Cell Biology, Gene Expression Analysis, Transgenic Mouse Models, Aging, Neurodegenerative Diseases, Mitochondrial Biology, Mitochondrial Function/Dysfunction and Mitochondrial Therapeutics. Prof. Reddy is a author or co-author of more than 110 peer-reviewed publications, including publications in such journals as Nature Genetics, Human Molecular Genetics, and Trends in Neurosciences.

Dr. Guarnieri is an Adjunct Professor at Bologna University and at Center for Applied Biomedical Research (CRBA), St. Orsola-Malpighi University Hospital, Bologna, Italy. She received her Ph.D. at Bologna University in 1986. Dr. Guarnieri has expertise in cell biology, cell signaling pathways and networks. Dr. Guarnieri research focus is targeted on cellular and molecular events sustaining and modulating the phenotype of cancer cells. In particular, she is interested in elucidating the relationship between inflammation and cancer and the contribution of some cellular biosensors to the maintenance of the inflammatory state. She is also interested in NSAIDs modulating effects of cell proliferation, with a particular attention on cyclooxygenase/lipoxygenase inhibition and membrane-related events. She also conducted research in neurophysiology, with a particular attention for retinal neurotransmission.

Dr. Orhan E Arslan is a Associate Professor and the director of Advanced Neuroanatomy and Anatomy Programs in the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at the University of South Florida. Dr. Orhan E Arslan also serve as preclerkship integration director. He received his PhD at Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1980. He has also designed a multi disciplinary board review module that integrate neuroanatomy, anatomy, histology and embryology. He has been actively involved in the implementation of problem-based and the clinical presentation-based curricula. His research interests include Integrative Medicine, JSM Bone Marrow Research and Horizon Research. He is an author of "Neuroanatomical Basis of Clinical Neurology" textbook.

Dr. Maurizio Trovato is a Senior researcher of Department of Biology and Biotechnology at La Sapienza University, Italy. He received his PhD from La Sapienza University in 1990. Dr. Maurizio scientific interests include Molecular and genetic mechanisms of plant development, Function of proline in plant growth and differentiation, Plant Genomics and Biotechnology. Dr. Maurizio is the author of 20 publications in international peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Matthias B Stope is a Principal Investigator and Head of Laboratory, Cancer Lab, Department of Urology, University Medicine Greifswald, Ernst Moritz Arndt University Greifswald, Germany. He received his PhD in Molecular Virology and Cell Biology in 2002. Dr. Matthias research interests include Identification and characterization of molecular pathways mediated by microRNAs and heat shock proteins that contribute to cell biology and pathology of cancer to develop new therapeutic and diagnositc strategies based on biological understanding.

Dr. Francesca Boccafoschi is an Associate Professor of Department of Health Sciences at University of Piemonte Orientale, Italy. She received her PhD in Molecular Medicine in 2001. Dr. Francesca research interests are mainly in vascular tissue engineering, biomaterials characterization, and the molecular processes involved in the development of vascular pathologies, in particular aneurysms.

Dr. Rosaria Meccariello is an Associate Professor of Department of Motor Science and Well being at University of Naples Parthenope, Italy. She obtained her PhD in Comparative Endocrinology from University of Padova, Italy. Dr. Rosaria areas of study and research topics are Biology of reproduction; reproductive endocrinology; spermatogenesis; sperm quality; hypothalamus-pituitary-gonad axis; endocannabinoids; kisspeptins; GnRH; endocrine disruptor chemicals; bisphenol A; local regulation of testicular activity in vertebrates; gene expression; characterization of endocannabinoid system and endocannabinoid activity in testis and hypothalamus; central and local activity of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH); cross talk between endocannabinoids and GnRH system; GnRH and kisspeptin; endocannabinoid system and sperm functions.

Dr. Valeria Sorrenti is an Associated Professor of Department of Drug Science at University of Catania, Italy. She obtained her PhD in Biology and Medical Biochemistry. Dr. Valeria research fields are Oxygen and nitric oxide toxicity and cellular defences in various patho physiological conditions; Pathway ADMA/DDAH/NOS in various pathophysiological conditions; Evaluation of activity of natural drugs and new synthetic compounds. Dr. Valeria has published numerous scientific publications, co-authored 2 books ("Aspetti molecolari dell'apoptosi e ruolo fisiopatologico" and "Flessibilmente: un modello sistemico di approccio al tema della flessibilità": Flessibilita e biologia-Organismi viventi come esseri flessibili") and co-edited “Recent Research Developments in Chemistry and Biology of Nitric Oxide-2008.

Dr. Vincenzo Bramanti is an Associate Professor of Department of Biochemistry at National Department of University and Research, Italy. He awarded the PhD in "Neurobiology" in 2017.His occupational fields are Biochemistry, Neurobiology, Clinical Biochemistry, Microbiology. His research topics includes Role of angiogenic and chemotactic molecules on brain metastasis mechanisms in an in vitro models of onco-hematology pathologies and Effect of alpha-lipoic acid in hematologic and solid tumors cells (neuroblastoma cells) to assess the cytoprotection, chemoresistance and its outreach to some conventional drugs.

Professor Jackson Chieh-Hsi Wu joined Taipei Medical University as dean and professor of Pharmacy in 2013. With a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Dean Wu has a strong academic background and diverse professional experience in Taiwan and the United States. Dean Wu received his Ph.D. degree in 1994 from Ohio State University, where he also worked as a Pharmacology research assistant and as an Internal Medicine postdoctoral fellow. He co-authored a conference paper on gene expression published in Society for Neuroscience. At the University of California in San Diego, he spent two years as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Bio engineering. His research interest on (1) Exploration of pivotal molecules involved in restenosis development by genomic and proteomic analysis, which help to identify the potential therapeutic targeting molecules or disease-specific bio markers for clinical diagnosis; (2) development of anti-angiogenic agents with multiple anti-cancer mechanisms and candidate compounds against drug resistance that help to reduce side effects of and drug resistance to first-line chemotherapy drugs.

Dr. Jian Guo Jiang is a Director, laboratory of Natural product chemistry and biotechnology, College of food and bioengineering, South China University of Technology. Dr Jiang received his PhD in hydrobiology in 1992 from State Key Laboratory of Freshwater Ecology and Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 1995-1997, he was a post-doctoral fellow at the South China University of Technology, where he first began to pursue research in food, natural products and biotechnology. In 1997, Dr Jiang was appointed an Associate Professor, and in 2005, he was appointed a Professor. Over the last 20 years, his research group has worked with a wide range of food and natural products, as well as Application of microalgae and metabolic engineering.
