Dr. Qing Liu is a Senior Research Scientist of Plant Metabolic Engineering Group department in CSIRO, Australia. Dr. Qing Liu received his Ph. D from University of Sydney in 1994-1997, Masters in Agri. Sci. from University of Adelaide in 1989-1991. Dr. Qing Liu research interests include development of nutritionally improved high-oleic rice bran oil, high-oleic cottonseed oil, developments of canola oil rich in omega-3 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids, safflower oil with high purity of oleic acid for industrial applications and oil-rich high biomass plants. More recently, Qing is interested in studying long self-life and nutritionally improved cereal grains including rice.

Prof. T M Indra Mahlia is a professor of Department of Mechanical Engineering, in Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia. Professor Mahlia obtained B. Eng in Mechanical Engineering from Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. He pursued M. Eng. Sc and PhD at the University of Malaya and graduated in 1997 and 2003 respectively. His publications include more than 300 journal articles, proceedings and also research reports, which 165 are ISI and more than 200 are Scopus indexed. His H-index is 35, with total citation of more than 4000. He supervised 12 PhDs and more than 50 Master students. He also involved as a researcher in 4.2 US$ Million project funded by various sources. Prof. T M Indra Mahlia research interest includes in Energy Engineering, Energy and Environment, Energy Systems and Energy Policy.

Dr. Guangwei Ding is an Associate professor of Chemistry Department, Northern State University, USA. Dr. Ding received his Ph.D from University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Environmental/Analytical Chemistry in 2002, Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London, London. U.K., Environmental Technology in 1998. Dr. Ding Identifying the structure of Natural Organic Matter (NOM) by using solid-state C-13 nuclear magnetic resonance and Infrared spectroscopic techniques. Studying the sorption/desorption behavior of hydrophobic organic compounds to natural organic matter. Understanding the hysteresis and the sorption mechanisms by observing the conformation changes of NOM, and characterization of mechanism is critical for fate and risk assessment as sorption can be rate-limiting to biodegradation, bioavailability, and subsurface transport of contaminants. Using radioactive material to identify the vertical distribution of soil erosion. Carbon sequestration associated with global change and policy.

Dr. Jianbo Wang is a Professor in the Department of Plant Biology, Wuhan University, China. Dr. Jianbo Wang received his Ph.D in Systematic and Evolutionary Botany, Wuhan University, P. R. China in 1996, Ms in Plant Cell Biology, Wuhan University, China in 1987. Dr. Jianbo Wang research interests include Plant Developmental Biology, Genomic Evolution in Polyploid Plants and he is interested in gene expression and regulation analysis of rice developing ovule, embryo and endosperm.

Dr. Sheng Teng is a Professor in the Institute of Plant Physiology & Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. He received his Ph.d in College of Life Science, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province in 2002, M.S., College of Life Science, Hangzhou University, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province in 1998. Dr. Sheng Teng research interests include research on Plant Physiology & Ecology, Rice Research, Plant Genome, Plant Growth Regulation, Breeding Science.
