Dr. Kenneth Blum (born August 8, 1939) is a researcher on neuropsychopharmacology and genetics. Dr. Kenneth Blum is known from his study on the genetics of alcoholism published in the Journal of the American Medical Association in 1990. Dr. Kenneth Blum works in the fields of neuropsychiatry and genetics, nutritional genetics, and pharmacogenetics. Blum's research has been recognized through numerous awards. Dr. Blum is currently an adjunct full professor in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Florida College of Medicine, and Mcknight Brain Institute (Gainesville, Florida), and formerly of the Department of Physiology & Pharmacology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine (Winston-Salem, North Carolina). Until 2008 he was also Chief Scientific Officer of Salugen, Inc., a personalized health and wellness company in San Diego, California. In 1995 Dr. Kenneth Blum retired as a full professor in the Department of Pharmacology, University of Texas, where he was also chief of the Division of Addictive Diseases, chief of the Division of Substance and Alcohol Misuse, and director of the Laboratory of Pharmacogenetics at the University of Texas Health Science Center (San Antonio, Texas). Currently Dr. Kenneth Blum is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Scientific Officer of LifeGen Inc. (San Diego, California), a neutrigenomic evidence-based corporation.Dr. Kenneth Blum's research interest includes genetics of alcoholism, neuropsychiatry and genetics, nutritional genetics, and pharmacogenetics.

Dr. Bingham is a research professor at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI) and head of the Young Driver Behavior and Injury Prevention group. He also has appointments as Research Professor in the Department of Health Behavior Health Education, School of Public Health, and in the Department of Psychiatry, Medical School at the University of Michigan. His research interests are in roadway injury prevention, with a primary focus on young driver safety, impaired driving, and program development and evaluation. Dr. Bingham has conducted research in this topic area for 18 years, and has been funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, the National Institute for Child Health and Human Development, Toyota, and various other private and state agencies, organizations, and corporations. He is currently a member and secretary of the Transportation Research Board Committee on Young Drivers, member and secretary of the Committee on Alcohol, Other Drugs and Transportation. He is also the vice chairperson of the Committee on Operator Education and Regulation.

Dr. Trevor Archer is a Professor is a Department of Psychology at University of Gothenburg. He obtained an Honour's degree (Psychology and Physiology) at Newcastle-upon-Tyne University (1974), and a PhD, Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden (1979). From 1978 (Aug) to 1988 (Dec), he was employed by Astra Lakemedel AB with the position of Head of CNS Drugs when he left to take up his appointment as Professor and Chair of Biological Psychology. he have the position of Guest or Visiting Professor at: University of Hawaii at Manoa, Orebro University, Karlstad University, Kalmar University, Madrid University and received an Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award from St. Joseph's College, North Point (2010); Honorary Doctorship; Professorship and Membership Awards from the Polish Academy of Science Pharmacological Society (may, 2013); and the Sansone Award (April, 2014): School of Medicine, Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri.

WK Tang was appointed as a professor in the Department of Psychiatry, the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. His main research areas are Addictions and Neuropsychiatry in Stroke. Professor Tang has published over 100 papers in renowned journals, and has also contributed to the peer review of 40 journals. He has secured over 20 major competitive research grants. He has served the editorial boards of five scientific journals. He was also a recipient of the Young Researcher Award in 2007, awarded by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Xiu Liu started drug abuse research career in late 1990's. His work, using animal models of addiction, employs a multidisciplinary approach to study the behavioral, environmental, and neurobiological mechanisms of drug abuse, in particular, nicotine dependence and tobacco smoking. He has an extensive publish record in drug addiction research filed. He has made considerable contributions to NIH/FDA grant review and journal editorial and review work.

Dr. Eduardo J. Perez Pedrero has worked since 1985 in treating people with addictions, both in Professional Therapeutic Community, and in outpatient services. Doctor in Psychology, Master Degree in Drug-Addictions, Diploma in Nursing, and Social Educator. Professor in postgraduate courses in various Spanish universities. He has participated in numerous national and international courses, congresses and conferences as a speaker and organizer. Research on addiction-related areas such as concurrent psychopathology, personality and its disorders, ADHD, quality of life, motivational interviewing, results of treatments or neuropsychology. He has published about 40 scientific articles indexed in PubMed, among others. He has written books and coordinated collective works on Addiction and Neuroscience and participated in collective books on issues related to addiction. He is on the Editorial Board of the 3 main Spanish addiction magazines, and in others Spanish and international journals. Research Interests: Neuropsychological basis of addiction; personality, treatment based on empowerment, environmental enrichment and neuropsychological rehabilitation, and addiction recovery.

Alejandro Javier Español borne in Buenos Aires in 1971. He studied in primary school education Felix Origone of Buenos Aires and graduated as Biological Proficient in school Juan M. Gutierrez in the same city. In 2001 he obtained a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires and four years later he obtained a Philosophiæ Doctor degree from the University of Buenos Aires. He studied at the University of Buenos Aires when he began his research at the Center of Pharmacological and Botanical Studies and in 1999 he made his first of several publications in an indexed journal. By getting your degree in Biological Sciences he continues his research in the area of oncology at the Institute of Oncology Angel H. Roffo in the University of Buenos Aires. Between 2003 and 2006 he holds the position of Assistant Director of the Laboratory of Basic and Special Research in the Center of Studies in Genetic and Reproduction of Buenos Aires where he continued publication scientific researches in several journals. In 2005 he presented his Doctoral Thesis published under the title "Parasympathetic Mamary modulation of murine adenocarcinoma cell lines. Biological activity". This publication is considered a reference in this area in Argentine. Elapse 2006 and Español Ph.D. becomes as a member of the National Research Council of Science and Technology of Argentina performing their research at the Center for Pharmacological and Botanical Studies. In that year also Español Ph.D. initiated functions as Director of Philosophiæ Doctor Thesis at the University of Buenos Aires, Favaloro and Maimonides from Argentina In 2010 he started as a teacher at the Medical University of Buenos Aires where he continues. In 2014 he travelled to Italy for the purpose of conducting research in neuro-oncology at the University of La Sapienza in Rome, returning in 2015 to the Center of Pharmacological and Botanical Studies of Argentina where he continues to develop his research to today.

Dr. Elina A Stefanovics is an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine, USA. She received her Ph.D and M.A from Saint Petersburg State University, Russia. She is also a Biostatistician in VA New England Mental Illness, Research, Education and Clinical Center at Yale University School of Medicine. Her previous appointments as Research Associate II in Department of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine; Assistant Professor of Sociology at Saint Petersburg State University; Post-Doctoral Fellow at School of Epidemiology and Public Health, Yale University. Dr. Elina A Stefanovics is a Research Coordinator for the project “Evidence-Based HIV Behavioral Approaches for Prevention”.

Weina Liu is a Principal Investigator and Assistant Director of the Key Laboratory of Adolescent Health Assessment and Exercise Intervention of the Ministry of Education of China and an Associate Professor in Human Kinesiology at School of Physical Education & Health Care in East China Normal University. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Human Kinesiology from East China Normal University. She completed her postdoctoral research at Department of Physiology in the Second Military Medical University. Dr. Liu has been the recipient of several awards including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Key Laboratory Construction Project of Adolescent Health Assessment and Exercise Intervention of Ministry of Education, and the Collaborative Innovation Center of POWER Project for Adolescent. She has served as a reviewer for several scientific journals.
