Prof. Hiroshi Kawaguchi is serving as a Chief at Japan Community Health Care Organization. He worked as Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Tokyo. Prof. Kawaguchi received his PhD from University of Tokyo in 1996. He was honored with numerous awards which includes ASBMR Lawrence Raisz Award, AAOS Kappa Delta Award, APLAR Distinguished Basic Investigator Award etc. Prof. Kawaguchi is working on research projects supported by Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research from the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and technology. His various research efforts have led to clinical use a recombinant agent for fracture healing and a novel artificial joint with longevity. Prof. Kawaguchi research interests focuses on Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Bone fracture, Periprostheticosteolysis, Ossification of spin alligaments.
