Dr. Xiyun Deng is a Professor, Department of Pathology, Hunan Normal University Medical College, China. Dr. Xiyun Deng received his M.S. from Cancer Research Institute, Central South University in Pathophysiology/Cancer Biology in 1994 and his Ph.D. from the same Institute in 2006. He completed his post-doctoral visiting scholarship at the US National Institutes of Health between 1997 and 1999 and his post-doctoral training at Wayne State University and Ohio State University between 2001 and 2005. Dr. Deng joined the Translational Research Center at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2007 as a research scientist and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2010.
