Prof. Timothy Lee Norman is a Professor in the department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering. He served as Director in the Department of Orthopedics, West Virginia University. Prof. Norman received his PhD in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University. He was honored with Faculty Scholar Award, Sigma Gamma Tau Aerospace Engineering Honorary, Outstanding Researcher award etc. Prof. Norman's pursued patents include "An Osteoinductive Device for Bone Incorporation into Tendon Graft in ACL Reconstruction" and "Osteoinductive Scaffold for Healing Augmentation in Intertransverse Process Fusion". His research interests focus on Biomechanics, Accident Reconstruction, Hip and Foot Prostheses, Injury and Occupant Biomechanics.
