Dr. Ferlito was Director of the Surgical Sciences Department at the same University from 2003 to 2009. He graduated in medicine at the University of Bologna in 1968. He completed his residence programme in otolaryngology and subsequently in pathology. He worked at the ENT Department of Padua University from 1970 to 1997. Professor Ferlito has collaborated in writing articles, editorials, commentaries, letters to the editor, special issues, book chapters and books with 516 international experts. His chief interests is the promotion of international cooperation in head and neck surgery, oncology and cancer research.

After completing the one year general practice residency at the V.A. Lakeside Hospital in Chicago in 1976, he completed the three year residency program in Pediatric Dentistry and M.DentSc program at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington in 1979. He served as Assistant Professor and Director of the postgraduate Pediatric Dentistry training program at the University of Illinois Medical Center from 1979-86 where he also served as Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics at Rush University College of Medicine and Presbyterian St. Lukes Hospital, Chicago. He is a Diplomat, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 1983, Fellow and Master, American Society of Dentistry for Children, and Fellow, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He currently also serves as Adjunct Professor, Department of Pediatric Dentistry, University of Alabama, Birmingham and Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland.

Dr. Rivera is board certified in both Otolaryngology and Neurotology. He has participated in Humanitarian Missions in eight different countries. His clinical interests include deaf-ness, cochlear implants, tumors of the skull base, and facial nerves. Dr. Rivera authored multiple published peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters. Moreover, he is a member on the FDA panel for ENT.

Steven M. Doettl is an Associate Professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology, College of Health Professions, at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He is the coordinator of the UTHSC Dizziness Clinic, which provides clinical vestibular assessments

Steven M. Doettl is an Associate Professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology, College of Health Professions, at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He is the coordinator of the UTHSC Dizziness Clinic, which provides clinical vestibular assessments and rehabilitation across the age-range as well as a wide-range of vestibular research. He is currently involved in vestibular research regarding the evaluation of vestibular disorders and analysis of current vestibular assessment techniques in the adult, pediatric, and special populations and has published and lectured on both the local and national levels. Dr. Doettl earned his Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D.) from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Doettl joined the faculty at UTHSC in 2009 as an adjunct member followed by a full-time appointment in 2010 where he is an active clinical supervisor and teaches two courses within the Au.D. program involving vestibular anatomy/physiology, assessment, and management.
