Prof. Parsons Xuejun Huang in the Department of Regenerative Medicine, San Diego Regenerative Medicine Institute,San Diego CA, USA. She received her PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular, and Cell Biology from Cornell University in 1998, and completed her PostDoc studies as a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Research Fellow at University of California at San Diego in 2002. Prof. Huang's was awarded a NIH mentored research scientist career development award (NIH K01AG024496, titled "Epigenetic Controls in hESC Dopaminergic Fate") in 2005 for successful transition of her career into the human stem cell field as PI. Prof. Parsons Xuejun Huang's research interest includes stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, neural regeneration, human pluripotent stem cell, human embryonic stem cells, neural stem cells, neuronal progenitor, neurological disorders, neurodegenerative disease, cardiac stem cell, heart disease, cell therapy, tissue engineering, cancer stem cell.
