Dr. Hong Wang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Miami University, USA. She started her independent career as an assistant professor at Miami University in 2007. She was promoted to associate professor in 2013.In 2016, she moved to University of North Texas as an associate professor. Dr. Wang received her bachelor degree from Shandong University in China in 1990 and her PhD with Kevin M Smith from UC. Davis in 2003. She was honored with Hong Wang Theme Journal Award, 2012; Hong Wang Distinguished Scholar Award (Miami University), 2012; NSF Career Award, 2011-201; Hong Wang Royal Society of Chemistry Emerging Investigator, 2011. Dr. Hong Wang Member of the American Chemical Society (2000-present) and Hong Wang Member of the Porphyrin Society (2009-present), etc. Dr. Hong Wang's research interests focuses on the development of enamine/metal Lewis acid cooperative catalysts for asymmetric organic transformations, and design and synthesis of porphyrin-based organic materials.
