Dr. Aylin M Deliormanlı is an Associate Professor in Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Celal Bayar University. She received her PhD and MSc degrees in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering from Izmir Institute of Technology, Turkey. She received her BSc degree in Chemical Engineering from Ege University, Turkey. She worked as a visiting fellow in Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Missouri Science and Technology, at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, USA and at ETH, Zurich, Switzerland. Her research interests include biomaterials, bioactive glass/ceramics, ceramic processing, scaffolds for tissue engineering applications and nanobiotechnology. She is the head of Biomaterials Research Lab at Celal Bayar University.
