Dr. Roganovic Jelena is the Full Professor of Pediatrics, School of Medicine Rijeka, and the Head of the Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Pediatrics, Clinical Hospital Centre Rijeka. Dr. Roganovic received her M.D. and Ph.D. from Rijeka University School of Medicine, Croatia. She completed her medical education from Rijeka/Croatia, Padua/Italy, and Cincinnati/USA. Dr Roganovic is a certified member of many national and international pediatric Hematological and oncological societies. She published more than 300 papers, book chapters, proceedings and abstracts. She received many awards, the most recent being University of Rijeka Foundation Award for the contribution in "Biomedical and biotechnical sciences 2013". She is a certified member of many national and international pediatric societies, taking an active and remarkable contribution in several European boards/committees. She serves as a reviewer for a number of national and international journals, and is an editorial board member of several journal of international repute. Dr. Roganovic's research interests include Pediatric oncology and hematology; leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumors; late effects of the treatment of childhood cancer; immune thrombocytopenia, rare anemias.
