Dr. Olga Zeni is a Research Scientist at CNR-Institute for Electromagnetic Sensing of the Environment (IREA), Italy. She received her Ph.D degree in in Zootechnical Science, University of Bologna, Italy (1996). She is also working as Co-supervisor of several graduation thesis in Electronic Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, University Federico, Naples, Italy. Dr. Olga Zeni main research interest includes Biological effects of non-ionizing electromagnetic fields from ELF to microwaves, Genotoxicity and cytotoxicity of chemical mutagens in mammalian cell cultures, Biological effects of co-exposures to electromagnetic fields and chemical/physical agents, Biological effects of THz radiation, Biological effects of nanosecond electric pulses, Cytotoxicity of nanoparticles, Evaluation of the occupational risk from exposure to electromagnetic fields in use for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Time-domain THz spectroscopy for the evaluation of molecular mechanisms underlying mammalian cell electroporation.
