Dr. Michael Hadjiargyrou is a Professor at the Department of Life Sciences at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Michael Hadjiargyrou received his training in molecular and cell biology at the City University of New York and the California Institute of Technology. Prior to become moving to NYIT, he served as Assistant and Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Stony Brook University as well as Graduate Program Director and Associate Vice President for Research. He also served as Chair of the Department of Life Sciences at NYIT. Lastly, he is a member of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research and the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology and serves on the Editorial Board of a number of scientific journals.
