Dr. Gorkem Bilgin graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in Turkey. She then went on to complete her residency training in the Department of Ophthalmology at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. After completing her residency, she had a scholarship for fellowship training in Neuro-ophthalmology in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of California, Los Angeles, under the tutelage of Anthony Arnold, MD and Dr.Lynn K Gordon, MD, PhD. She is working as an ophthalmologist in Hacettepe University Beytepe Hospital at the moment. Dr. Bilgin's reserch interests includes the study of relation between sleep apnea and neurophtalmologic diseases and glaucoma.
