Prof. Jianyong Li is a professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the Virginia Tech. He was an Associate Professor in the same university. He completed his Ph.D in the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1990). He is a protein biochemist and has extensive experience in protein-related research (protein expression and purification, analysis protein modification by mass spectrometry, and determination of protein structure-function relationships by crystallography). His research fields included peptide mass spectrometry, protein structure and function.
