Dr. Eunok Jung is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Konkuk University since 2002. Eunok completed her Ph.D. at Courant Institute, New York University and her undergraduate and mater degrees at Korea University. Her research interests lie in the area of mathematical modeling of infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases, optimal control theory, and biofluid dynamics.She has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of prevention medicine, medical science, engineering and biology. Eunok has served on roughly thirty conference and workshop program committees. She has served as a general director and a vice-president in the Korean Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (KSIAM) from 2005 to 2014, a board member in Korean Mathematical Society (KMS), Korean Society for Mathematical Biology, Korean Women in Mathematical Sciences.
