Prof. Jan Ricks Jennings is actively teaching as a Professor for the Graduate School of Public Health-University of Pittsburgh, has taught at the Kellogg School of Management-Northwestern University and the Jacobs School of Management-University of Buffalo. For ten years Prof. Jennings lectured for the American College of Healthcare Executives, lectured throughout the Peoples Republic of China and twice throughout the United Kingdom. Prof. Jennings has a MHA from the Graduate School of Public Health-University of Pittsburgh, a B.S. in business administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an Associate's Degree in accounting from Robert Morris University. He is the first CEO position was at St. Luke's Memorial Medical Center in Utica, New York from 1980 through 1983. The organization was 336 beds and an attached 76 bed skilled nursing facility. From 1883 to 1993 Prof. Jennings served as President and CEO of the Millard Fillmore Healthcare System. From 1993 to 1997 Prof. Jennings served as President and CEO of the Children's Memorial Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. In 1999 Prof. Jennings was invited to be President and CEO of the Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2004 Prof. Jennings capitalized a Pittsburgh based healthcare consulting firm, American Healthcare Solutions, LLC. Prof. Jennings has become a national leader in healthcare administration and academic affairs associated with healthcare administration.
