Dr. Luay Fraiwan is currently an associate professor of Biomedical Engineering, Jordan University, Jordan; and also associate professor of electrical and computer engineering, Abu Dhabi University, UAE. He received his M.S. Biomedical Engineering from The University of Akron and Ph D. Degree from the University of Akron, Ohio, in 2005. Dr. Fraiwan's research interests include biomedical signal processing and medical electronics. He has been engaged in research related to sleep analysis and automated sleep stage identification in both adults and newborns.
