Dr. Gilbert Lefevre is a Senior Scientist Neurosciences, Musculoskeletal Disorders, Infectious Diseases, Tropical Medicines, Oncology Novartis NIBR, DMPK, Basel, Switzerland. Dr. Lefevre has twenty-five years pharmaceutical development experience with expertise in Translational Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics and Dose/Exposure-Response relationships. Dr. Lefevre also has regulatory experience, including approvals at WHO (list of essential medicines) with nine successful New Drug Applications in cardiovascular disorders, oncology, neuroscience, infectious diseases and tropical medicines. His expertise also includes drug development in pediatrics, and he established partnerships with Academia in Africa, Asia and USA. Dr. Lefevre was co-awarded the Prix Galien US in 2010 for the antimalarial Coartem/Riamet. Dr. Lefevre received a PhD in Biology and Life Sciences from University of Paris, France, and was trained in General Immunology at Pasteur Institute.
