Dr. Cecilia Cristea is full professor of Analytical Chemistry in the Faculty of Pharmacy of the "Iuliu Hatieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She also worked as Associate Professor. She receiveed her P.H.D in 1998-2003. After receiving her PhD in Chemistry from Rennes 1 University, France and her post doctoral research stays in Sherboorke University, Canada, her main field of interest changed from organic electrosynthesis to electrochemical biosensors, nanomaterials, screen printed electrodes design, immuno and aptasensors development for cancer biomarkers detection, carbon based nanomaterials applied in the elaboration of sensors for pharmaceutical analysis, molecularly imprinted polymers for biomimetic sensors, hyphenated techniques.
