Abstract: Vibrio species are the major concern to the aquaculture industry because they are both fish pathogens and also bring foodborne diseases to human. Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) is a simple and rapid method to detect the pathogens. In this study, we developed a specific and sensitive loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay to detect Vibrio scophthalmi, a pathogen of turbot.
