Abstract: This study examines the effect of Coronavirus pandemic on psychological state of students in south-Eastern Nigeria. Three research questions and three null hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. Ex-post facto research design was adopted to study a sample of 303 University students who accepted to be part of this study. One trial tested instrument with three clusters, covering; depression, anxiety and academic success was used for data collection.

Abstract: Older adults who have a positive attitude toward their aging are less likely to be exposed to mental illnesses compared to those with a more negative attitude toward their own aging. Abstract: Depression and anxiety are the most common mental health diagnoses in primary care. In this article, we discuss changes in Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) with respect to depressive and anxiety disorders. We also provide a brief overview of assessment of these disorders and associated safety concerns, while maintaining focus on the pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions for the management of depression and anxiety in primary care.

Abstract: Trying to understand, diagnose, conceptualize and treat Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) leads to a range of ideas and propositions reaching from a simple reaction to a meaningful dealing with threat expectations. While the theories of PTSD are centered around one specific segment of human behavior (e.g. conditioning or coping) many treatment programs are eclectic.
