Dr. Francois Gagne is Associate professor at The University of Rimouski and Senior Research Scientist at Aquatic Contaminants Research Division, Canada. He received his Ph.D from the Environmental Sciences Department of Metz University (1996), and MS in Biochemistry specialized in Molecular & Cellular Toxicology at The University of Quebec (1989). He was involved in various research programs with toxicogenomic application of environment issues such as cumulative effects of climate changes, municipal/industrial effluent ecotoxicity, nanotechnology, pharmaceuticals, oil sands and rare earth elements. His research interests are in the interaction of xenobiotics at the molecular level in living systems.
