Dr. Hideyo Yasuda is a Senior Researcher in the Department of Stem Cell and Regenerating Technology at Konkuk University, South Korea. Now he retired from the professor position in MD anderson cancer center, Houston, TX. Dr. Yasuda received his Ph.D in Cell Biology and Molecular Biology from Graduate School of University of Tokyo, Japan in 1977. Dr. Yasuda honored with Award for Excellent Pharmaceutical Research, The Research Foundation for Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1990; Award for Scientific Research, The Naito Foundation, 1998; Award for Excellent Cancer Research, The SAGAWA Foundation for Promotion of Cancer Research, 2000 and Award for Life Science, The Uehara Memorial Foundation, 2003. Dr. Hideyo Yasuda's research interests focuses on the regulatory mechanism of the mammalian cell cycle, proteolysis, post- translational modification of protein, differentition, and cancer cell growth.
