Dr. Laodong Guo is a Professor in the School of Freshwater Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Oceanography from Texas A&M University. Dr. Laodong Guo research interest includes Biogeochemical cycling of carbon, nutrients and trace elements; Role of natural dissolved organic matter in governing the fate, transport and bioavailability/toxicity of chemical species in aquatic environments; Biogeochemical processes at the soil-water, river-lake, and land-ocean interfaces; Applications of stable isotopes and radionuclides (U/Th-series and fallout) in the studies of aquatic biogeochemistry.
