Dr. Alessandro Chiasera research interests includes: Manufacture and characterization of planar waveguides SiO2-TiO2, SiO2-HfO2 and SiO2-GeO2 activated erbium-ytterbium by rf- technique; to waveguides characterization planar GeO2-TiO2 activated erbium produced via Sol-Gel; Study of the spectroscopic properties of bulk glasses silica-alumina activated erbium-ytterbium; characterization of silicate glasses activated erbium exchanged silver. He has 257 scientific articles in international journals and 244 communications at national and international congresses.
