His research directions are diagnosis and treatment of deformities and defects in the oral and maxillofacial regions and oral and maxillofacial and neck tumors, especially are diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the middle cranial base and oral precancerous lesions. He completed presided over the tenth-five major disease research topic of the Ministry of Science and Technology, projects of the National Natural Science Foundation Committee, CMB funds of United State.
