Dr. Asif Bashir is an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery in Neuroscience Department, Seton Hall University School of Health & Medical Sciences New Jersey, USA. He received his Ph. D. in the Department of Stereo tactic & Functional Neurosurgery in 2007 from Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA. His research interests includes Deep Brain Stimulation Emerging Neuromodulation, DBS - Surgery for Movement Disorders, Movement Disorders Surgery, Pituitary Tumors, Discogenic Back Pain. He is awarded Outstanding Surgical Intern: University of Minnesota, USA in 1999, Centra Memorial Silver Medal for standing 1st in the subject of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the final Professional M.B.B.S Exam in 1993.
