Dr. Daniel James Guillaume is currently Director of Quality and Safety in Department of Neurosurgery at University of Minnesota Health. He is also working as Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery and Pediatrics at University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA. Dr. Guillaume research is focused on improving diagnosis and therapy for pediatric brain tumors by use of advanced imaging, and efforts to improve delivery of anti-tumor agents by manipulation of the blood-brain barrier. His other ongoing research studies evaluate methods to improve treatment of hydrocephalus using image guidance, and miminally invasive approaches to the brain and skull base. Dr. Guillaume's research interests include advanced treatments of brain and spinal tumors, minimally invasive surgical approaches, complex hydrocephalus, and Chiari malformation.
