Dr. Kangpu Xu is an Associate Professor at the Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRM), Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University in New York City, USA and director of laboratory of pre implantation genetics. He completed his PhD in Denmark. Since 1992 as a faculty member, principle investigator and laboratory director, Dr. Kangpu Cornell PGD (Pre implantation Genetic Diagnosis) team has been involved in research and development in PGD and PGS (Pre implantation Genetic Screening) using a variety of single cell technologies for various biopsied materials. Dr. Kangpu clinically certified lab is providing in-house PGD and PGS cervices for CRM patients. In addition, he is interested applications of stem cell technology for regenerative medicine. He currently serves on the board of directors of PGDIS (Pre implantation Genetic Diagnosis International Society).
