Prof. James CS Chim is SH Ho Professor of Haematology and Medical Oncology, Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. Prof.Chim is a clinician scientist & double fellow of both the Royal Colleges of Physicians and Pathologists of UK. He has published more than 230 papers in peer-reviewed journals. Prof.Chim is a Member of the International Myeloma Working Group (IMWG), Executive Committee member of Asia Myeloma Network, Chairman of Education Program, Asia Pacific Hematology Consortium (APHCON), the Founding Chairman of the Hong Kong Society of Myeloma. He is on the editorial board of multiple journals. He has been invited reviewer for American Society of Hematology (ASH) and external reviewer for prestigious grant funding organizations including Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, Leukemia Research (United Kingdom), Cancer Research United Kingdom, The Agency for Science, Technology and Research of Singapore and Association for International Cancer Research (AICR). Prof. Chim was awarded the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award in 2009, and is currently Visiting Professor to 10 universities in mainland China. Prof. Chim's research interests include Epigenetic alterations in hematological malignancies, DNA methylation, Clinical trials in multiple myeloma, lymphoma and leukemia.
