Dr. Guanxing Huang is Professor of Institute of Hydrogeology and Environmental Geology, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, China. He received his Ph.D. degree from Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, China in 2014. He was working as a visiting scholar in University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2015-2016. He has published over 70 refereed journal articles with a total citation exceeding 1,000. Dr. Huang is an editorial board member of Open Journal of Modern Hydrology, and is a member of both International Association of Geo Chemistry (IAGC) and International Association of Hydrology (IAH). He received several awards/honors, including the Excellence in Review Award of Applied Geochemistry in 2020, Young Scientist Award of Chinese society of Environmental Sciences in 2020, and Outstanding Youth Science and Technology Talent Cultivation Plan, Ministry of Land and Resources of China in 2015. Dr. Guanxing Huang current research includes evolution of groundwater chemistry, assessment of groundwater quality, environmental geochemical behaviors of arsenic in soil-groundwater systems, and remediation techniques for groundwater pollution.
