Dr. Miroslaw Szybowicz is professor at Poznan University of Technology (PUT) and vicedean of Faculty of Technical Physics PUT. He is working at Institute of Materials Research and Quantum Engineering Faculty of Technical Physics and is a specialist in the field of optical spectroscopy (scattering spectroscopy, Raman and Brillouin spectroscopy). Dr. Szybowicz received his M.Sc. degree in physics in 1994 at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Ph.D in physics in 1999, habilitation in physics at Poznan University of Technology in 2012. Dr. Szybowicz's research interests have been focused on organic thin layers as a new optoelectronic materials for optoelectronic applications, magnetic materials, and photovoltaic devices, new class of carbon materials such as nano- and microdiamonds structures for use as chemical electrodes, high–power transistors or biosensors transducers, carbon nanotubes, graphene and some biological systems such as bones, blood and analysis of protein structure using micro-Raman scattering spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy.
