Dr. Angelo Baggiani is Associate Professor of Hygiene and Public Health at the Medical School, University of Pisa. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Pisa in 1992. Since then he works at the Department of Experimental Pathology, Medical Biotechnology, Infection Diseases and Epidemiology since graduated. In 1996 Dr. Baggiani pursuaded his Postgraduate Specialization in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine at the University of Pisa.He also worked as Researcher in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine (MED/42) at the University of Pisa since 1997. Dr. Baggiani was the member of the Italian Society of Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Public Health (SItI), and the Working Group on Hospital Hygiene (GISIAN) carries on his research activity in the fields of epidemiology, public health and community medicine, environmental health and hospital hygiene, food and nutrition hygiene, management in health. Dr. Baggiani's research activity includes hygiene, epidemiology and prevention of infectious diseases, food hygiene and epidemiology and organization of Health Services.
