Dr. Aldo Romani is Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Biology and Biotechnology at the University of Perugia and President of the Excellence Centre SMAArt (Scientific Methodologies Applied to Archaeology and Art). He Graduated in Chemistry at the University of Perugia in 1987 and achieved his PhD in Chemistry in 1992 in the same University. Dr. Romani's research activity concerns both basic and applied subjects principally involving characterization of the molecular excited states by means of the parameters that govern their radiative and non-radiative processes using spectroscopic techniques in absorption and emission.
