Dr. Giovanni Conzo is an Associate Professor in the Department of General and Specialistic Surgery, Department of Anaesthesiology, Surgical and Emergency Science. Dr. Conzo also Specialist in General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery, Division of General and Oncologic Surgery School of Medicine at Second University of Naples, Italy. He began his career in 1990 as an assistant surgeon at the Institute of Surgical Semeiotics, University of Naples. Dr. Conzo later attended several training periods at international referral centres for Upper GI, HPB, and liver transplantation surgery as well as for laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Giovanni Conzo's research interests includes Thyroid cancer, Adrenal pathologies, Pancreatic cancer and Mininvasive gastrointestinal surgery. He leads his research largely in the field of digestive pathology and endocrinology, as well as minimally invasive surgery.
