Prof. Jing Wang is Professor in the Department of of Bioinformatics and Computational at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC), Unted States of America. Jing Wang worked as a Co-Director of Bioinformatics Shared Resource. Jing Wang recieved his Ph.D. in Biophysics from University of Manitoba/National Research Council of Canada, USA. He completed his BSc.MSc in Physics at University of Manitoba, Canada. He has experience of 18 years in Bioinformatics and focus on (1) Basic research in developing and applying computational and classification methods for "omic" data; (2) Collaborative research efforts with biologists/clinicians in the discovery of biomarkers for cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and tumor subtype classification. Jing Wang's research interests includes in analytical and translational bioinformatics and focus on the development and application of computational methods to high-throughput molecular profiling, and systems biology data, including: Cancer diagnostic, prognostic therapeutic biomarkers discovery, Development and application of data-mining, prediction and validation techniques.
