Dr. Nehal I Abu Lail is an Associate Professor and Associate Director at United States of America. She worked as Visiting Associate Professor at Jordan University of Science and Technology. Dr. Lail received her PhD from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester. She was honored with numerous awards which includes GPSA Award of Excellence, Martin Luther King distinguished service award, Chemical engineering teacher of the year etc. Dr. Lail's research is funded by the NSF, NIH, DoD and 3M. Main accomplishments of her research has resulted in the Development of a high-quality research program focused on fundamental understanding of the molecular mechanisms that govern bacterial adherence and pathogenicity through bacterial surface biopolymers and bacterial physiochemical properties, For the first time compared, nanoscale bacterial adhesion among bacterial strains that represent a whole bacterial genus, Listeria, etc. Dr. Lail's research is focused on fundamental understanding of physiochemical cellular properties and interactions in environmental and biological systems.
