Dr. Muhammad Maqbool is as an Associate Professor for the Department of Physics and Medical Physics at Ball State University. Dr. Maqbool obtained his Ph.D. degree in experimental condensed matter physics from Ohio University, USA, in 2005. He has obtained his Master of Science degree in medical & radiation Physics from the University of Birmingham, UK, in 1998. His research interests include in Medical Physics, Radiation Therapy, Health Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, Photonics, Biophotonics, experimental condensed matter physics and Photonics. He also works in Medical & Health Physics. He has published over 60 research papers and book chapters in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Maqbool has presented his work in several international meetings, conferences and workshops. He has also worked as an organizing chair of the American Physical Society Ohio Region Fall-2011 meeting. He was also the panel chair for Medical Physics in the American Physical Society Ohio Region Fall-2011 meeting. Dr. Maqbool has obtained over half a million dollars in grant from various organizations like National Science Foundation, Indiana Academy of Science and Ball State University.
