Dr. Alparslan esearch Interests include Post surgical chronic pain, Nausea and vomiting, Perioperative pain management, Outcome studies. Acute pain management and post surgical chronic pain is one of his areas of interest and he has conducted numerous clinical studies on the role of gabapentin in the peri-operative setting. He is the author of more than 100 peer reviewed papers including a landmark paper on post operative nausea and vomiting (New England Journal of Medicine).
